The story was solid, still not a fan of the ending, but I can respect it. The trivia addon was a nice touch, even the non-Monkey Island triva was fun! Highly recommend.

I’m really glad that I played Return to Monkey Island. It doesn’t have anything new to tell in terms of story, or game play, but the understated humor is there, the art style and the animation works on point, the writing is sharp, and the reflections on what adventure means holds a special place, to me, and probably for anyone who ever played an adventure game.

Whilst I had fun with this, I think by not being a Big Fan and playing all of the previous titles, I'm missing out on some stuff (specifically the ending).

It was a fun game to play, but I would say if you want to play this, make sure you've played through the rest of the library first.

Ho giocato Return to Monkey island non appena è stato disponibile su GamePass nel novembre 2022.

Le vibes che si sono respirate sin da subito sono state molto simili a quelle dei primi due storici capitoli.

Graficamente con uno stile innovativo ed ispirato, il gioco mi ha trasmesso un senso di spensieratezza per tutta la durata della campagna, intervallando enigmi divertenti e gag ispirate.

Come avventura grafica è un titolo praticamente privo di difetti, anche se ammetto personalmente di fare molta fatica con questo genere di giochi ormai.

Da più giovane me le giocavo molto più tranquillamente ma adesso dopo 8 ore di lavoro per me è quasi impossibile non addormentarmi davanti ad un ritmo di gioco cosi compassato.

Return to Monkey Island is truly a fantastic game with it being the latest entry in the series! I thoroughly enjoyed this game and even continued to do multiple playthroughs of it once I had finished it on stream! Everything about this game is truly brilliant and guybrush shines as bright as ever in this entry for the series!

Story war okay, das Ende war wieder tyisch Monkey Island mit WTF-Moment ^^

Die Rätsel mochte ich super gerne und ich habe auch alle (manche schneller für andere habe ich dann noch wieder ne Stunde gebraucht) ohne Zuhilfenahme des Lösungsbuches geschafft.

Die Quizkarten hatten zum Teil dafür echt für mich zu kniffelige Fragen, vielleicht muss ich das Spiel dann nochmal spielen um mehr Quizkarten zu sammeln 🤪

Was mir persönlich nicht so zugesagt hat war der Grafik-Stil. Mir gefällt der Art-Stil einfach nicht. Da wären die alten Modelle aus Curse of Monkey Island besser gewesen - aber nach knapp 15 Jahren kann man einem Stilwechsel auch nicht böse sein.

Ich bin jetzt fast ein bisschen traurig, dass ich mit beenden dieses Teil das Monkey Island-Franchise abgeschlossen habe. Aber wie schon geschrieben... vielleicht spiele ich die Teile ja irgendwann alle nochmal 👍
