Um otimo retorno a franquia Resident Evil ao terror, um jogo maravilhoso, peca em alguns quesitos como historia e algumas partes da gameplay, de resto é quase perfeito

After an action-oriented trilogy, the developers decided to return the series to its survival horror roots. This game feels like a complete reboot, introducing new gameplay mechanics and a first-person perspective.

A new main character is introduced, who receives a message from his wife, whom he believed to be dead. The story resembles Silent Hill 2 only at the beginning - soon he finds his wife alive in an old house, but infected with something, and encounters other infected inhabitants who constantly chase him. There are also regular monsters formed from human corpses revived by mold. They are quite bullet-spongy, so going for headshots is usually the best strategy.

The shooting mechanics feel somewhat awkward - aiming can be difficult, and ammo is limited. Exploration and inventory management resemble classic RE games, with searching for keys and solving fairly simple puzzles.

I also recommend playing the DLCs - some expand the story, while others offer interesting mini-games.

One of the best entries in the Resident Evil series.

Si l'ambiance initiale est réussie, le jeu s'effondre techniquement et narrativement dans son dernier tiers, tout en manquant cruellement de diversité dans ses affrontements. Clairement le moins bon de toute la saga selon moi.

Introduced me to the series, probably my favorite game of all time.

I loved Resident Evil 6. This one was... meh. As if Capcom looked at Outlast and decided to make their own. I don't mind Ethan and the story. But I definitely liked that RE Village was more action packed and had larger scale and more zones.

I'm not even sure I want to grind for 100% in this one.
