I played this game on an emulator, and I understand that it was designed for mobile platforms with their own hardware limitations. The gameplay resembles classic Resident Evil in some ways: limited ammo, moving between rooms, avoiding zombies, and searching for keys to locked doors.
The combat system is very primitive - you have to press a button at the right moment to match the target point on a slider. Sometimes you travel with a group of characters, but visually it looks like a single person. You can switch between characters to deal damage using their equipped weapons.
There's a PDA item that shows your current objective, but it doesn't include any notes or hints. Because of that, it's easy to get lost, especially when you need to find a key on a dead body in some room.
The story follows Barry and Leon on a mission aboard an ocean liner. The music is quite annoying, so I ended up turning it off and playing my own instead.
Overall, it's not a strong entry in the Resident Evil series, but you can still enjoy it if you get used to its mechanics.

I ignored this game for a long time because I didn't own a VR headset. I played it using the noVR mod - it's still buggy and rough, but the game is fully playable.
Despite that, it still feels like the same Half-Life experience, just with some new features. Weapons can now be upgraded, the multitool is used to solve puzzles and you can loot bodies. The shooting mechanics rely more on hitting enemy weak points.
The story takes place before Half-Life 2 and was genuinely interesting, with a twist at the end and an open ending clearly setting up the next game.
Highly recommended for all Half-Life fans.
