The biohazard threat has not ended: Just when it seemed that the menace of Resident Evil had been destroyed, along comes a new terror to send shivers down players' spines. Chris Redfield, returning Resident Evil hero, has followed the path of the evil literally around the globe. After joining a new organization, Chris heads to Africa where the latest bioterrorism threat is literally transforming the people and animals of the city into mindless, maddened creatures. He is joined by a new partner, Sheva Alomar, who lends her strength, intelligence and sharp-shooting skills to the mission. In order to survive, Chris and Sheva must work together to take on the challenges of discovering the truth behind this evil plot. Utilizing a revolutionary new 2-player co-op mode of gameplay, players assume control of either Chris or Sheva and experience Resident Evil in new ways. In Resident Evil 5, Capcom has players fearing the daylight as much as they have feared shadow in previous games.

É um jogo muito divertido, eu gostei muito de jogar ele, no entanto, ele não parece muito ser um resident evil, eu senti que faltou o survival horror. Eu acabo tendo municao demais, e eu não sinto medo no jogo. Mas pelo menos a gameplay é muito boa, e eu me diverti nele, alem de que eu até que gostei da história do jogo

The most fun I had with a resident evil game. Horror elements takes a backseat for sure however the co-op gameplay is one of the most fun I've had in a while. I probably finished the game more than 50 times. Definitely a MUST PLAY if you're a co-op fan.

I played this game with my partner and we had a lot of fun playing this game! The gameplay was very action based which I do like and did have that survival horror element to it with the QTE's (which I failed a lot) we even did all the DLC which was short and sweet but explained a lot that tied into the story! I hope to 100% it in the future!

One of the greatest co-op campaigns to ever have been released. Like it's a good game solo. But, this is 100% a co-op game with a friend to just fuck around with through and through.

Suddenly, they decided to bring to the main line games the AI partner that you have only experienced in the Revelations games, which was a terrible idea. The game feels like a repetition of RE4 tropes in an African setting, and having a game over because the AI doesn't know what is doing is terrible, as well as the controls feeling outdated. Playing with someone makes it a little more enjoyable, but still has a lot of flaws.

Overall Score : 7.2/10 I knew that this game was hated ,but lately I've been seen too much praise of it. I'm kinda mixed about it ,but I generally enjoyed my time with it ,though I believe that with a proper remake it would be a great game possibly. The game made me feel nostalgic to the Playstation 3 era and had many characteristics of it ,like the classic shooting from the back of a truck mission. The gameplay is the same style as the original Resident Evil 4 , with the difference that you have a partner thorough the game. The gameplay loop was good enough for me and fun ,but the enemy variety felt lacking and boring after a while unfortunately. The areas were also uninteresting and lacked atmosphere . I did not have problems with Sheva's AI for the most part ,but there was a fight that I wanted to get a rocket launcher and Sheva wouldn't let me ,because she would pick it ,drop it and pick it again infinitely. Another major complaint I had with the game was how much of a copy it felt to Resident Evil 4 ,the enemies were almost identical for the most part and though I didn't mind at first as the virus is connected to the plaga ,I changed my mind when I saw a variation of RE4s El Gigante . Most of the bosses were tedious as well ,with the exceptions being the Uroboros fight at the start ,which was interesting with the whole furnace thingie ,the bat was also decent and last but not least the only good boss fight in the game ,which was the Jill and Wesker fight,which was really cool and unique. Unfortunately the final fight wasn't good either. The story was decent it was the closure of Chris's and Wesker's rivalry , the pacing felt off though ,though the game is only 11 hours long ,it felt dragged and the villains were introduced too late. This game made me appreciate Chris more though , he was a good protagonist and Sheva was also a decent deuteragonist. The lore was also expanded nicely ,which was something that pleased me. I really enjoyed seeing Wesker on screen again and the cinematics were really well made. The dlcs were okay ,not anything great honestly . Lost in nightmares took a slower more classic RE approach compared the the main game ,had interesting exploration at first and introduced a new enemy, ,but it was overused to the point that I grew tired of it. Desperate Escape was more action packed ,but I honestly enjoyed more in the end ,cause it felt fresh playing as Jill ,also the last fight was kinda tense ,because Josh was literally 1HP from dying completely . All in all ,Resident Evil 5 is a decent game ,but a bad Resident Evil game ,I won't recommend it ,unless you got a friend to play it with ,because from the very small experience I had with it ,it was really fun.
