Gameplay is decent, the story isn't anything special, not bad but not especially good, you need to around 770+ episodes in the anime to get all the story references which is a bit of a barrier to fully enjoy the game so it's hard to recommend to people who aren't already fans of the anime or manga.

If you are a massive One Piece fan like myself then look no further! If you enjoy JRPG's such as the persona series then you will definitely love this game! As a One Piece fan myself this game you can play as ALL the strawhat pirates (except jimbei as this was set just before the WANO arc) and they all have unique ability's that they can use! Balancing out the team can be tricky at first and has a rock, paper scissorts kind of advantage/disadvantage system but overall it works quite well! If you have enough time to invest in the game then go for it!

Ich muss von vorhinein sagen, dass das Spiel nichts für mich wäre, wenn es nicht mit dem One Piece Franchise ausgesttat wäre. Die Kämpfe sind sehr generisch und man setzt immer nur die selbsen Angriffe ein sobald man die stärksten freigeschaltet hat. Die Bosskämpfe ziehen strecken sich durch die hohe Lebenspunktzahl der Gegner nach hinten und füllen sich fast nur durch unzählige Wiederholungen der immer gleichen Attacken. Für Spieler die genau diese Art von Gameplay in kämpfen lieben ist es allerdings ein gefundenes Fressen. Mich hat der typische One Piece Humor zufrieden gestellt. Es wurden die Eigenheiten der verschiedenen Charaktere und teils komplett neue aber auch witzige Charaktere gut in Szene gesetzt. Auch wenn das Gameplay zu wünschen übrig hat (wobei man aus Trailern aber genau sehen kann, worauf man sich einlässt) hat mich der One Piece Charm doch sehr zufrieden gestellt.

I think it's a great 'anime' game of which there are not a lot. I would've preferred if they implemented a combat system like they had in a previous one piece game namely "One Piece World Seeker" but it's still fun in this game. It's also quite a lot of fun to revisit certain key story arcs from the series.

Best one piece game out, but still could use some work. Pretty clunky in the overworld, but fights are fun. Level up too fast, it's really easy.

Great turn based combat system but side quests are repetitive and frustrating. Some objectives are also unmarked on the map which is unhelpful and puts you off from engaging with side content. Overall though its a good turn based RPG, especially if you're a fan of One Piece.

Um jogo feito para fã. Talvez o melhor jogo de One Piece em muitos anos. Excelente história (Original aliás), boa gameplay, vasto sistema de exploração, Visual fácil e muito atraente, Sistema de evolução de personagem simples mas bastante diversificado.

O que talvez não tornaria esse jogo completo, é o fato de ser um JRPG, e acaba sendo "nichado" demais. Nem todo mundo tem a paciência de aproveitar uma boa história e um jogo menos cadenciado do que temos hoje em dia.

Trop simple mais fidèle .

One Piece Odyssey ist ein gelungenes JRPG, das mit hübschen und bunten Welten, Gegnern und Figuren darauf wartet, gemütlich erforscht zu werden. Durch die Erinnerungen der Piratenbande fühlt sich das Spiel mehr nach einem Recap an, als nach einer neuen Episode, aber das ist im Angesicht des 25. Jubiläums kein großes Problem, sondern könnte einfach als gemütliche Feier des Franchise interpretiert werden. Die One-Piece-Stimmung wird schließlich in allen Aspekten spielerisch eingefangen. Adio, Lim und die neue Insel Waford repräsentieren die frischen Elemente, welche hier und dort eingestreut wurden. Große Neuerungen für One Piece oder Rollenspiele bewirken sie jedoch nicht. Vielmehr wirkt alles, wie ein Film der Reihe, dessen Geschichte man zwar irgendwie alleinstehend verstehen würde, die aber erst so richtig Spaß macht, wenn man One Piece kennt. Wenn euch One Piece Red also zu musikalisch war, habt ihr mit Odyssey die Möglichkeit, in ein rundes One Piece Abenteuer abzutauchen, das ein spielbarer Anime-Film sein könnte!
