HiFi Rush Very Hard Mode A LOT OF FUN /10 My Personal GOTY (yet) Gameplay : DMC married with rythm game with a bit Kingdom Hearts mech x some mech from old n new action games with good boss mechanics Pro - The combat progression is so good, but it has a slow start until you upgrades some combo n perks.. in Very Hard mode, you really cant mash button.. mid to late game need a lot of effisien combo with partners and perfect parry.. -The QTE mode is a highlight of the gameplay, with seamless integration in puzzle and cooperative challenges. - The sound design is incredible.. - the soundtrack is banger.., both in stream mode / not. - The controls are very well done - some transitions between 3D gameplay, 2D cutscenes, and rendered cutscenes are awesome. - The bosses are pure blast with creative mechanics - Every chapter theres always new type of mobs that need more spesific combo, parry & partner to fight.. - a lot of custom perks, special attacks, and combos that you can combine depending on your playstyle. - The English voice acting - superb.. - Although the plot is average, but with HQ voice acting, well written pacing, immersive presentation, endearing characters, and smooth animation elevate the overall experience... FUN! - Theres End Game content (free Roam to every chp) Cons - There is this forced parry mechanics of which unnecessarily punishing in this game that can be frustrating (especially in Very Hard mode), failing to do perfect parry lead to death n requires player to repeat the entire fight all over again, including phase 1 in some cases. - so many perks but its very limited use in late game
