Life is Strange: Reunion is the thrilling finale to the Max and Chloe saga, a chapter that brings their book to a close. This is a full circle moment for both developers and fansβone that builds on everything that has come before. And even as the game delivers a reunion long-thought impossible, it also caps off our time at Caledon University in a literal blaze of glory.

Did I enjoy my time with Life is Strange: Reunion? Sure. Was I expecting more from it? Absolutely.
There's a lot to like about the game, the fantastic performances of Hannah Telle, Rhianna DeVries and Blu Allen, the vibes, and the promise of a reunion between Max and Chloe. But at times, the recycled locations, woefully under used returning characters (I'm looking at you Amanda), and limited animations left the experience feeling (sadly) a little half baked. When faced with my choice stats at the end of the game, there were things that I didn't even know I had any opportunity to impact.
As a fan of the series, I still enjoyed Reunion for what it was, but it felt like a B tier entry when I was expecting an A*

What a shameless cashgrab!!!!
This should have been a free DLC for the main game that already had an unfinished story. They just reused assets came up with a boring story end. Those games are supposed to be story and choice driven but yet, this one is so linear and inconsequential. You just follow the beats and that's it. I've never been a fan of the genre and this franchise, but decided to give it a go and as much as there is a lot of potential here, they just just rushed everything and delivered a mediocre product, it leaves a lot to desire.
GAMEPLAY
the gameplay and choices have been stripped down to the bare minimum; and when this title comes out in the same year as Dispatch, it make the franchise looks cheap. I dont know how the fan base reacted to this entry but i feel bad for them. It used to be praised for it's storytelling and dialogue choices but not in this one. Again, the game as a lot of potential, but it just gates you in one direction all along, the real "choice" you have is who you kind of romance but it doesn't feel organic with the flow of the story at all. Also, if you havent played the previous games in the franchise you're kind of screwed, they ask you a bunch of question about the choices you made in prior game to tailor the story, but it wont make any sense if you havent played.
GRAPHICS
Nothing against the style of the game, it's enjoyable, but it's low quality in term of rendering, texture popup, etc. It's unpolished, sloppy, for a full price game that is story-driven without flashy action and set-piece, it's a let down; you cant even choose outfit for you characters, there's no option to change the environment or what not, it's a low effort game.
PLATINUM
The platinum was easy enough as the game is short and uninteresting. Just interact with everything and everyone, there's one or two trophy that you will need to comeback to through the chapter select but nothing really hard. It does forces you to do 2 gameplay though for no other reason than a choice you made pre-game for one of the character (so, so, stupid) and you cant skip dialogue during gameplay, only during chapter select, so the 2nd playthrough is really, really long and painful.
The only people that should play that game are the hardcore fans that are ready to be disappointed and throw out the window the money to buy it. I do not recommend, at all, go play another entry in the series that had good review, cause this is not IT.
