Originally released only in Japan on December 26, 2002, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix has several events and a number of gameplay tweaks that are not in previous releases. Spoken dialogue is in English, with Japanese subtitles. New scenes, clarifying certain plot points, such as Riku's journey and foreshadowing of Kingdom Hearts II, were included, but no new dialogue was recorded. A gameplay option allows the player to skip cutscenes after seeing them once. The optional bosses first included in the English version were introduced to Japanese players for the first time, along with a new fight against "Unknown Man," in an attempt to raise interest for the sequel.

We love Kingdom Hearts more each time we play it and this was our first Proud Mode playthrough so we are feeling pretty accomplished. π
β’ Good RPG

PS4 versionβ¦but still a good game. Didnβt care much for the ship.
Best KH in terms of story, gameplay has aged quite badly in comparison to KH2 for example. Still a great game though.
Even though I played the final mix on PS4 I will say I kinda enjoyed the story to this and it has some good Bosses but also some bad ones as well some of the gameplay looked abit clunky but it picked up later on and the hitboxes are very sensitive it is a good game but it is far from Perfect.
A fantastic revision to the original Kingdom Hearts game. I played the PS4 version from the 1.5 collection, but man what a treat. I don't think I despised getting the platinum for this one.
