So I already reviewed this game under "did not finish", but the dev pushed an update yesterday that fixed ALL the issues. The new version turned out to be a relaxing experience, and I even 100%ed it. GG dev.

I picked this up because it was free to play on Steam. Despite the "mostly negative" reviews, I went in with an open mind. Unfortunately, my playthrough did not go well. The flyfishing mechanic is almost impossible. I spent a good chunk of time trying to catch something and only managed one catch. Which would have been good, had my inventory not become full and broke the game. If your inventory is full, a pop up tells you so, but then all of the controls break. You cannot move the character and you cannot even open the menu to quit, let alone save and quit. This was the last straw for me and I had to call it there unfortunately. In general, the game itself is very basic, there isn't much to do, and the camera angle is fixed which leads to running into walls a lot of the time. There are also artefacts which wash up on the shore that you need to collect, but from looking at the comments on Steam, the way to trigger these appearing is unknown, and some people were unable to complete the game as a result. A huge no no for achievement hunters like myself. TLDR, I went in open minded, but when the game mechanics are badly implemented and there are game breaking bugs, I cannot recommend this to anyone.
