IMHO one of the cutest simulation-games that exist! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLt26ELb92jI8meGRWhMaTrkIgvheZYWS2 Official Steam review from 2019 here: To be honest, I believe in finding diamonds. When it comes to games, you sometimes and as rarely as with the real stones have that feeling too. So I just browsed my Steam-archive in search for the next game to stream and found Factory Town. It somehow fit exactly in the criteria about what i wanted to play: a simulation in early access with a developer (Erik Asmussen) who is NOT part of one of the big game publishing houses, instead someone, who with much passion and love to detail creates a game from scratch. So I installed the game, which is very very small, and started to play without doing any research on it in advance. And it hooked me immediately! After acquiring the first resources you have to gain more and optimize the flow of goods to get the most goals. When you grow your city, it happens more than once, that you have to relocate stuff in it. Additional challenges to the levels brings the 4 different amounts of coins you have to get to advance and upgrade your buildings and getting more skills and opportunities to fine-tune your flow of goods. The hints at the start-screen are very hands-on and help you a lot! Nevertheless, I have to admit, that without the help of my viewers in the stream, I was more than once a little lost. If you are searching for a simulation-game which is comparable to Factorio (or as someone on twitch had called it: "the cuter version of "Satisfactory", you have found your game! It is very small and very easy on your computer's resources because of not trying to overdo it with graphics, instead keeping it clear and easy to view. Not many bugs are found and it NEVER crashed on my win10-64 computer. I seem to have gotten mine on a Steam-sale and to be honest: worth every penny! TL;DR: If you want to try out a new indie simulation-game in Early Access which goes easy on resources and is fun and challenging enough for easy-going playing in the evening, you have found your product! Enjoy building and growing your city! :) EDIT: campaigns were added to the game! If you want to revisit your skills or are new to the game, they are a great help to find out how things work! a BIG thanks to Erik Asmussen for that! Definitely one of my go-to-games, which I love to revisit every once in a while with a GREAT community of fans!
