a fine metroidvania with rather unique controls (it is pretty much made for use with the mouse to be most effective) I had a lot of fun with it even if I got lost a lot.

A different take on 2D action platformers, Doomblade is a crazy wild ride from the start. Bosses are horrendous, and what you think is a boss that isn't actually a boss... is also terrifying. The game map with open up like a rose in full bloom, however there is a fast travel system to make things slightly easier. Definitely an amazing game! (Sidenote: Developers took away a key tool {lock-on system} in the game that is heavily needed, which made it completely impossible to defeat the last boss!!) Other than that little sidenote.... Great Game! 😅
