Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (commonly abbreviated to as RoE) is an expansion pack for Doom 3 developed by Nerve Software and id Software and released on April 4, 2005. The PC version was sold as an expansion pack, requiring Doom 3 to install. The Xbox version was sold as a stand-alone game, with Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and the Doom II Master Levels as bonuses on the disc. The expansion pack included several new monsters, as well as three new weapons.

Ressurection of Evil это прямое продолжение DOOM 3, нам дают новый артефакт (оружие) и мы всё так же ходим и изничтожаем нечисть.
В общем то, добавить нечего, это та же самая игра, вернее, её дополнение (Add-On), но идущая отдельным ярлыком в Стиме 😁
Если прошли основную игру, то и Add-On (как непривычно, сейчас то это DLC называется), естественно, рекомендуем к прохождению.

Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil is what Doom 3 should've been. It was a more enjoyable experience than the base game, though the final boss in this game is worse than Doom 3's somehow. The new editions to this expansions are the double barrel shotgun which is far better than the near useless pump action from the base game. The double barrel has a tighter spread which made it useful cause I was able to kill things, in fact it was my most used weapon in the game, even more than the plasma rifle which was my most used in the base game. The other edition is the Ionized Plasma Levitator or gravity gun as I call it and its so useful against the Vulgars which is a new enemy that the game just loves throwing at you, literally and figuratively, they are used so much I actually started missing the imps, but back to the point. They love throwing projectiles at you and the gravity gun is able to do the "right back at you buckaroo" to them, even the hell knights was no match to this thing. It's just sad that this expansion was so short but at least it didn't overstay its welcome.

Неплохое DLC для третьей части Дума. Проходиться в принципе быстро, по сюжету, как мне показалось, повторили от части, то что произошло в оригинале, но сойдет. Некоторые игровые моменты улучшили. Также хочу заметить, что сложность чертовых монстров увеличилась как по мне, но это только добавляет интереса. Прошел на одном дыхании и вам советую сыграть!

"Good, but worse than the original"
Resurrection of Evil is a sequel to the original DOOM 3 made as an add-on. Here, the developers have already focused on Action. The addition is more dynamic, but less atmospheric and frightening. I would not say that this is bad, because the addition is made in the same way in the best traditions of DOOM 3. From the innovation - new weapons, new locations. And the gameplay hasn't changed. Same engine, same graphics.
Of the minuses, I would note that the add-on is quite fast to go through, but overall very good!
