Crash Team Racing
Crash Team Racing is a kart racing game featuring popular characters from the Crash Bandicoot series. The gameplay is very similar to other kart racing video games like Mario Kart: players have to choose a character and compete against the other racers on various racetracks. The story mode allows you to choose any one of the characters to complete all the main races and beat the ultimate boss Nitrous Oxide. Each of the main races are against 7 other AI competitors with 5 boss races. There are also a few arcade modes up to 4 players.

This is my favourite racing game of all time, at least it's the one I think I've put the most time into overall, you just can't beat the coming home from school and the silly polar bear just taking you out right before the end of the last lap, grrrr
I don't need to say much more , if you like crash bandicoot even just a little you will love this, if you like racing games you will enjoy this too, it's also multiplayer , oh my the times we had as 3 young brothers playing this are unreal, no regrets. Remastered version i've not played but I'd imagine it's not the same feeling, close maybe? but not the same

Some of the most fun I've had with any type of racing game! The controls are a bit to get used to at first but once you get into it, it's a ton of fun and the drifting feels very satisfying when you pull it off. Lots of variety with the tracks and a great soundtrack as usual. I think this game has aged really well and is a must try for anyone who is a fan of kart racers.

Crash Team Racing, c’est LE jeu que j’ai poncé comme jamais. Un pur bijou de la PS1, un gameplay nerveux, des circuits mémorables et une vraie maîtrise du drift qui récompense l’entraînement. C’était mon Mario Kart… mais en mieux (ouais, je l’ai dit). Chaque partie, chaque boost maîtrisé, chaque shortcut trouvé, c’était de l’adrénaline pure. Franchement, une de mes meilleures expériences de jeu de kart, et après ça, je n’ai tout simplement plus ressenti l’envie de replonger dans ce genre de jeu. Peut-être que j’avais déjà touché le sommet ! 🤣

The Good: Tight driving physics, variety of characters, fun tracks, lots of do, AI a bit less cheap than Mario Kart
The Bad: ughh the crystal challenges SUCK, rubberbanding
I played this ages ago for my birthday bonanza. One of my favourite childhood games.

The rubberbanding is so bad in this one that it takes all the fun out of racing.
I don't like the aesthetics or the music.
