Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare differs from previous installments of the Call of Duty series. Previous Call of Duty games have a distinct three country-specific campaign style, while Call of Duty 4 has a more film-like plot with interlaced story lines from the perspectives of Sgt. Paul Jackson of the Marines 1st Force Recon and Sgt. 'Soap' MacTavish of the British 22nd SAS Regiment.

New setting, new engine, new story - yes, it's a completely new CoD. I still remember that level in Chernobyl and the story in general - wonderful game. I give 8/10

My 1st Call of Duty on a non Nintendo console. Still to this day is one of the best multiplayers with amazing maps and mostly good weapon balance. The campaign was also very enjoyable and had some extremely epic moments for a game that came out in 2007.

This game was life changing when I played it as a kid, the gritty campaign was intense and revolutionary when it came out. Replaying it now it's a little dated at times, the story itself is fine while at times is just plain military propaganda. The multiplayer is insane and still goes hard as fuck til this day.

This is one of my Favourite Call Of Dutys of all time and played it during my Call Of Duty Marathon series! The campaign is amazing for this game, modern combat at its finest and the multiplayer changed it for what we see call of duty today! A simple 10/10 game!
