Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare between old and new foes. In this conflict, the mechanized creations of men reign supreme, facing off against each other as their creators stay safe and unconflicted, and in the process grow ever softer. In this scenario an important question will be asked: What happens when an enemy steals the keys to your war? To understand such a possible future, you must understand where you have been.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II offers an engaging experience, even at times when it can feel a bit over the top.
They expanded the series by adding more content, which is both a positive and a minor drawback. The campaign features branching paths and multiple endings, providing a sense that player choices have an impact, which is a welcome change. The story is somewhat non-linear and plays with its timeline and characters, with some moments working better than others. Occasionally, it attempts to be more dramatic, which can come across as somewhat exaggerated.
The multiplayer remains the primary reason players continue to enjoy the game. It is fast-paced, responsive, and accessible. The new Pick 10 system is particularly notable, allowing players to customize their loadouts without feeling restricted by rigid rules. However, balance issues can occur, and matches can sometimes become unorganized quickly. Overall, the gunplay is solid, which is a central aspect that matters more than many of the additional features.
Zombies mode continues to be a significant part of the experience. Its chaotic nature remains entertaining, and there is enough content to keep players engaged for extended periods. While not every mode feels equally polished, the overall offering has substantial depth.
What prevents Black Ops II from achieving a higher score is that it can feel somewhat overloaded and inconsistent at times. It demonstrates ambition, but not all ideas come together seamlessly. The game is enjoyable, well-designed in parts, and memorable, though it can also be somewhat uneven.
A solid entry in the Call of Duty series, featuring creative ideas, good action, and some imperfections that prevent it from being outstanding.

Another fantastic campaign that I played for my Call Of Duty Marathon series! The Antagonist for this game was one of the best in the series ( In my honest opinion) Zombies they added so many different things with modes, maps and ways to play with your friends! Multiplayer was so fun and the pick 10 system is still by far the best create a class we have ever had in a call of duty game! Another 10/10 Call Of duty which ends a golden generation of cods!
