Beyond Eyes is an adventure game that follows a 10 year old blind girl named Rae. The game follows her as she tries to find her cat Nani. The world is white and empty but as you control her character through the game the world reveals itself in its true colours.

Un petit jeu très court mais intéressant.
J'ai beaucoup aimé la façon dont le monde se matérialise autour de la fillette et les couleurs pastel/aquarelle partout. L'histoire est simple mais suffisante, les ambiances servent leur propos, et le gameplay est Ok (il est "logique" mais de fait manque de légèreté).
Après je n'ai pas envie de le spoiler (même s'il n'est plus dispo sur Steam depuis), donc je vais éviter de trop en dire

Visualmente el juego es una joya pero con el tiempo tanto espacio en blanco cansa; otro punto en contra es el backtraking, despues de llegar a tu objetivo el regresar toma el mismo tiempo sintiéndose vacío e innecesario

Beyond Eyes is a unique and beautiful game. I really loved the premise of getting to unlock the watercolor world as Rae adventures out for the first time. You discover things might not be as Rae hears them, as you investigate further and go forward on the journey to find your cat friend, Nani. You conquer Rae's fears, explore a world she can only "see" through her other senses.
I get that Rae is blind and probably doesn't want to dart about anywhere for fear of bumping into something. I get that this game defines itself as a 'walking simulator', and I've enjoyed other games in the genre before, but the problem with this one is that it's just very very slow. The game has only a few hours of actual "gameplay", but its amplified by the fact that the main character walks everywhere really slowly, which then boosts the "gaming" hours.
Nevertheless, the game makes you feel things through the main character, like happiness, sorrow and fear. The Game has adorable animals and a colorful atmosphere. It has simple, yet soothing, soundtrack and it looks quite pretty. Taking all of this into consideration, I will recommend the game. Sadly it's not sold through steam anymore, but if you manage to get yourself a copy, it's worth playing through for sure!

A great, and now rare, experience.
Graphics are breathtaking, like a vibrant watercolor style. There's lots of color, and your canvas that is the world around you is rife with opportunity for creation as you explore, using the game's protagonist Rae as your brush.
Music can be very nice, though a bit sparse or short-lived in some areas. Across one narrow pathway I heard a lovely theme, but it stopped the moment the path widened out into a field. The whole of the pathway took SECONDS to traverse, but the theme was so lovely that I went back and dwelt there a while just to listen; a testament to the game's soundtrack. Sound design is nice, with foot falls sounding appropriate, and a cat's mew cutely guiding your character's way.
Story is wonderful, and bittersweet. I'll list no spoilers, but what I will say is that this game does a great job, both in its opening and throughout, in making you care for the character in a protective and sympathetic way. The character your control, Rae, is vulnerable in more ways than one. It is your job to keep her safe and guide her to her heart's desire. The ending and epilogue further strum the heartstrings, leading to a sad smile.
The gameplay is very basic. Using only 3 buttons: left analog stick to move the character, right analog stick to turn the camera, and "x" to interact with things in the environment, its simple style matched the game's calm pace. Most areas before you are stark white and appear object-less. But as you navigate the environs with Rae, the world around you gets colored in, and filled in with objects. This can make the gamer feel like an artist, having a hand in the world's creation.
Now for the negatives; I can only think of four. First, this game is no longer obtainable. It was never released physically, and the developer chose not to renew the publishing agreement leading to the game being delisted from all digital storefronts back in 2021. A shame, as I believe art-inclined fans would be want for an experience like this. Second, Rae cannot run. While this is intentional, thematic, and fitting for the story, some gamers may be irked at having to slowly stroll through the game's environs. Third, the music was a bit sparse and I would've liked to hear it more often. Finally, I wish there were many more interactions between Rae and the cat; I feel this would have led to a larger emotional impact in the end.
I can't say there was anything that I found bad about this experience, just things I would do a bit differently to enhance it.
