Ak-xolotl è un buon rogue-like figlio di Enter the Gungeon nel gameplay e Cult of the Lamb per la componente gestionale. Il gioco di per sè è molto derivativo e poco originale ma riesce comunque a mettere insieme efficacemente vari elementi tipici del genere, in particolare dei due giochi precedentemente citati. L'unico aspetto che lo rende un po' più gradevole e simpatico di altri rogue sono chiaramente gli axolotl. Nel complesso quindi è un gioco consigliabile agli appassionati del genere ma che alla fine è solo l'ennesimo roguelike fatto bene ma non speciale

Overall good top down game. Might play here and there, but I really dislike most of the weapons as they all feel quite useless besides a few. Meta progression could be better and a few QOL changes are in order, but overall not a bad time
