Acecraft è un buon clone di Cuphead, sia per lo stile artistico, che per il gameplay e il sound design. Nonostante questo, il gioco è piacevole e artisticamente molto bello. Il suo problema principale però sta nell'essere un gioco casual e mobile, infatti ha un sistema di ricompense e potenziamenti totalmente copiato dalla maggior parte dei giochi mobile moderni: pass battaglia, ricompense giornaliere, mini-sfide, continui pop-up, video pubblicitari per ottenere più ricompense e milioni di microtansazioni. Acecraft quindi prende Cuphead e lo fonde con la logica moderna dei giochi mobile, risultando quindi abbastanza piacevole per il giocatore casual ma molto deludente per chi è veramente appasionato di videogiochi
