I stumble upon this visual novel because I was searching for short free steam games to play on my stream. I do admit the cute Loli Claus got me and I immediently downloaded it hoping for cute and soft content, and I wasn't wrong about that. The story was short and simple, you are basically in debt with Loli Claus and you have to pay her back with a present that you owe her. Alas, you don't have anything to give and that's where the story continues on. It was a good read, something that purified my dark soul from all the evil and nasty thing I read in reddit and a couple of other sites (that will not be mentioned). It is purely wholesome and I do not regret playing this game. This Loli Santa gave me a bit of hope in my depressed life.

First of all, I was challenge by my friend to play this game years ago but never really tried it because I was too much of a coward to do so. So this 2023 Spooktober I decided to try and finish playing the game... and I beat it. In the game, players assume the role of Miles Upshur, an investigative journalist who gets a tip about some dubious activity occurring at an abandoned asylum. After deciding to look into it, Miles quickly discovers that he is stranded inside the facility and has no way out. The entire game is played in first person, and in order to survive, players must use cunning and stealth. Outlast's gameplay, which employs found footage techniques, is one of its most notable aspects. We (The Player) use our handheld camera, which is all we have, to record their journey through the asylum. This increases the level of immersion in the game since players have to take extra care to avoid drawing the attention of the dangerous and severely disturbed asylum residents. Overall, I would highly recommend Outlast to anyone looking for a truly terrifying horror experience. Its unique gameplay mechanics, immersive storytelling, and stunning graphics make it one of the most memorable games in the genre. Whether you're a seasoned horror veteran or a newcomer to the genre, Outlast is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat!
