There are defined number of neighbors you save on every level. When they are free then "Exit" door opens and you jump on next level. The levels differ from mall and grocery store to beaches and football fields. Using different weapons such as bazooka or water gun you have to kill the bosses such as huge babies, dragons or ants at the end of levels. You can play the game with two players cooperatively.

Apparently this games design was influenced and doubled in size by the blockbuster rental curse, which means the second half of the game is to say the least... annoying... There's also quite a few differences between the Genesis version and the Snes. I've managed to softlock AND hardlock the Genesis version in the past! The Snes version seems to have more memory for enemies so you can use more despawning tricks on the genesis version to help you... HOWEVER! On certain levels like the football pitch with the worm boss be careful allowing too much action happening on screen at once because that can be one of the hardlock crash triggers! Fight the worms more on the sidelines if you can. You need to hoard every piece of gear you can find because it will make life much easier later. This especially includes bazookas and red potions since those will break through any weak wall or door that doesn't need a skeleton key. Once you get to the extra 'Blockbuster Rental' half of the game enemy placement becomes more unfair and useful gear more rare. Vampires and Fishmen are mostly not worth your resources to kill unless absolutely necessary (though the latter can be assholes who will LITERALLY spawn right on top of neighbours you're trying to rescue in places) Fire extinguishers and soda are op on most enemies once you learn how to use them and the cross when used sparingly can be used almost like a damaging iframes dodge/parry. There's so much cool stuff but also problems with this game. You can have fun but MY GOD so much unfair shit in this. 2 player is almost unplayable in places imo. No amount of items will save your ass if the game decides to spawn an enemy right on top of a civilian you're trying to save. At that point you have to basically memorise the enemy and level quirks.

Game difícilimo, impossível zerar sem save state... Não oferece tantas armas, é aleatório onde encontrar armas, muda a quantidade de pessoas a salvar a cada partida... Dificílimo! Se já era difícil chegar até a fase 10, imagina na 48.
