✩ love this game but it doesn't have much play-ability as when i used to play it (i played both console releases as a kid). the amount of hours shown is how long i played on stream in the span of 3 days... do NOT try to have a relationship in the game, ESPECIALLY if it's your IRL partner and some friends, worst mistake in my life. my nostalgia goggles broke when i was trying to romance my partner and we kept AUTOMATICALLY cheating on each other. IT'D BE FINE IF THEY DIDN'T GET JEALOUS. ISLAND POLYCULE WOULD'VE BEEN FINE (tho not with my sapphic friends lol). also, probably because of the age rating of the game or something- you can't kiss or 'woohoo' your partner- I SPENT LIKE 12 HOURS TRYING TO ROMANCE MY PARTNER AND WE COULDN'T EVEN KISS AFTER MARRIAGE. maybe it'd be easier if it was just two sims on the island but the romance is NOT worth the struggle.
