Psi-Ops is an action game with a twist: no longer do you have to rely solely on big weapons and explosions to progress through it - you also have the aid of psychic powers to take down army after army of enemy soldiers. In the game you take the role of Nick Scryer, a secret agent who had his face reconstructed and mind wiped clean in order to infiltrate a growing psychic organization calling itself The Movement. Nick, however, is captured, but manages to free himself and continue his mission to stop The Movement, regaining his psychic abilities along the way. The game mixes regular weapons with the weapons of the mind. You'll have access to a series of mind powers, such as Telekinesis (the ability to fling object and soldiers around), Pyrokineses (the ability to set things on fire), Mind Drain (for draining Psi power out of foes' minds) and Remote Viewing (leaving your body behind and exploring the level).

All in all I enjoyed the game it had the classic old school game difficulty which I expected which had me have a few parts where I struggled but was very satisfying when I finally managed to beat it. The aiming in the game although unique was difficult to manage since any enemies that were in the air were next to impossible to actually hit. The visuals were good the cut scenes were a little rough but none of it was bad. Story was very cool though a little confusing sometimes since there was a lot of stuff you just had to know to know but there is no previous or second game to fill in those gaps and little to no flashbacks to explain anything other than the training levels to explain the new powers you were just randomly unlocking without any rhyme or reason how they were being unlocked. Soundtrack was simplistic and didn't play too often just was covered up by the louder shooting and dialogue from enemies. So not a bad game at all but not super high up there an enjoyable time and if you like odd games play it.
