A 16th-century narrative adventure set in Upper Bavaria, following Andreas Maler, a journeyman artist working in the bygone scriptorium of Kiersau Abbey during a time of great social unrest. While finishing his masterpiece, Andreas inadvertently becomes entangled in a series of murders that take place over 25 years. Peasants, thieves, craftsmen, monks, nuns, nobles, and even saints must be investigated and interrogated to expose the truth.

Ce qui frappe le plus avec ce jeu : son ton et sa direction artistique. Le génie venant de l'idée d'animer le dessin médiéval : l’enluminure. Sachez que ce jeu ne vous laissera pas faire : imprévisible avec son style de niche votre enquête dans la résolution d'un meurtre sera difficilement atteignable. Au point où vous vous demanderez si votre personnage n'est pas perché de base. Vous rêvez souvent de discuter avec Socrate, un bouffon, un roi et sa dame en même temps ?

I have some gripes with the game, but it has really good ideas, that are executed 80% really well, even if some that don't clikc annoy me a lot. It has great style, and the dialogues are pretty well written, it is definitely a game that is gonna be hard to forget, unlike Outer Worlds.

I thought this was a fantastic game for the first part of it. Very easy to understand how the gameplay worked, I loved how it was you creating the story. The only part I did not like was the third part of the game when the main characters switched. I felt at this point the game started to drag for me and I was ready for it to be done with. The ending was a twist I did not see coming, but it took a bit to get there.

Приятный квест в стилистике средневековой европейской живописи. Хотелось добавить, что там есть философский контекст, но на самом деле его нет, но прикольно как по итогу разворачивается история. И ещё понравился дизайнерское решение, что за день нельзя успеть выполнить все квесты, приходится выбирать на чём сосредоточиться. Для любителей чтения и легких детективчиков советую😊

Pentiment é uma expressão artística que retrata muito bem a Europa na época da Reforma Luterana. O jogo apresenta uma gameplay em formato de leitura, com aspectos iluminados e xilogravuras impressas da época. Toda a experiência de jogo é, literalmente, uma leitura de um grande livro onde você escreve a história. É comum vivenciar dilemas morais e religiosos durante essa jornada. O jogo traz uma reflexão profunda sobre visões destoantes da época, apresentando os pontos negativos e positivos de cada uma delas. Além disso, foram adicionados alguns elementos de RPG. Com certeza, Pentiment é um dos títulos mais distintos da Obsidian, apesar de se tratar de um nicho muito específico. Em resumo, Pentiment é muito mais um livro interativo historicamente inspirador do que um jogo. A todo momento, você vai aprender referências históricas e ver suas ações impactando a vida dos moradores de Tassing.

I really, REALLY enjoyed this game. I always enjoy a game that takes you through the changes of the world, one that has such an atmosphere about it, that the characters, the setting, feels so real. Pentiment is that and more, really immersing you into this small Italian town and all its politics, all its desires. I had issues with the story when nearing its end, but it couldn't taint the ride this game takes you on.
