Paranormal HK is a first person horror game about Urban legends of Hong Kong, China. The story is about a crew of online supernatural channel“Beyond the Invisible” went to Kowloon Walled City to film a short movie for their latest episode and encountered something out of their expectations.

This game was unique but lacking in a lot of areas. It had a few good scares but after a while they became more annoying than scary and the puzzles were pretty easy to figure out. Short game, too.

Asian horror really hits different and Paranormal HK gave us the metaphorical piledriver.
Set in Hong Kong, we navigate a twisting corridor of alleyways and narrow apartments while being chased by an assortment of nightmare-induced creatures. I think some of them are from local lore but there are others that I'm not as familiar with!
I loved the set design since it's so unique - each level looks amazing and the game doesn't feel repetitive and boring. Plenty of jumpscares that make it hard for you to expect when the next one is going to spring on you. Monster design and challenges are quite creative and it's so interesting trying to figure out how to get to the next place!
My only criticism is mostly because of my personal preferences. I despise CONSTANT sneaking. Like sure sneaking is fine but if you get punished for not sneaking in the RIGHT way due to control issues then that's annoying. Despite that, I still recommend this game!!
