New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a side-scrolling 2.5D Mario platformer for the Wii and the tenth game in the Super Mario series. In addition to the single-player experience, New Super Mario Bros. Wii also features a multiplayer mode for up to four players. This is the first Super Mario game to feature co-op and vs. modes at the same time since Mario Bros. It features more items, new levels, and more enemies than the DS predecessor. The game introduces two new power-ups, the Propeller Mushroom and the Penguin Suit, which turn characters into their propeller and penguin forms, respectively.

New Super Mario Bros Wii is a classic Mario Bros game which is both fun to play alone or with friends. With good level designs and chaos with friends, it's a childhood game I still enjoy playing now.

En mi opinión el mejor new super mario que se ha hecho. En este juego valoro bastante la jugabilidad, mejoró bastante la jugabilidad del juego de ds y también de forma excelente agregó el multijugador que tanta diversión me ha dado a mi y a un montón de gente. Los nuevos poderes son bastante originales y muy iconicos, ¿Quien no recuerda el champicoptero y el traje de pingüino? Unos poderes que se quedarían para siempre grabados en la mente para los fans de Mario para siempre. El diseño de niveles es genial, los niveles tiene una dificultad bastante bien balanceada, a diferencia del anterior que a veces tenía niveles un poco complicados en zonas muy tempranas del juego. Lo que más me encanta es que da igual que juegues solo o acompañados, el nivel nunca se hace ni muy grande para un jugador ni muy pequeño para cuatro jugadores y eso lo valoro bastante. La música a partir de este juego se volvió un poco repetitiva, ¿por qué? A partir de este juego nintendo empezó a reciclar la música para los siguientes new super mario bros. (esto no es un punto malo para este juego obviamente). New super mario bros wii es un juego muy divertido tanto solo como acompañado, una experiencia muy clásica y que cualquiera puede disfrutar.

Sure, I'm biased because this was my childhood game, but still, this game is great. The gameplay feels good with solo runs or with group playthroughs, the soundtrack was solid, and the game looked really pretty with some amazing world design that were somehow both simple and interesting at the same time.

The earliest Mario game I remember and better yet, the first Wii game I remember playing. Good memories are most of the reason for this high of a review though.
