Meet Mick and Mack - the coolest kids in McDonaldland. Now that Hamburglar has run off with Ronald's magic bag, the M. C. Kids need your help to find him. You'll need to move pretty fast to dodge creatures like Goferit and I. Psycho, solve tricky puzzles and explore the secret levels of McDonaldland. If you're going to help the M.C.Kids track down Hamburglar, you're going to have to make some totally fresh moves of your own. It's very easy to dismiss this as "an advergame", but MC Kids was created in a time where there was still an obligation to make things like this GOOD so the marketing would actually work as intended. And for all that? There isn't much corporate influence in MC Kids. Ronald and his friends appear at certain points but 95% of the time the only markedly "McDonald's" thing you're going to see are the "M" arches that are on the collectibles. MC Kids is incredibly solid and a lot of fun to play. My only real gripe is that if you exit a stage and you've missed an important collectible the level entrance on the overworld doesn't show you that you didn't find everything (like how level doors will stay brown in Kirby's Adventure). If you don't already know where everything is you'll spend a lot of time in levels searching for absolutely nothing because the thing you're missing is somewhere else entirely.

This is my all-time favorite game. Some of my happiest childhood memories were spent beating this game with my dad. It was super challenging with a really fun story and very catchy music. Mick and Mac will live on in my heart forever.
