Long after the passing of the Second Shadow, when dragons ruled the twilight sky and the stars were bright and numerous, came the Age of the Great Guilds. Blacksmiths. Shepherds. Clerics. Each dedicated to the absolute control of secret knowledge. Another such Guild was the Weavers. Over the centuries, their craft transcended the limits of physical cloth, until they wove the very fabric of reality itself. Now, a strange power has swept the Weavers into oblivion, leaving behind one Weaver boy to unravel the mystery. Help young Bobbin rescue his Guild...and you just might save the universe from an unspeakable catastrophe.

story very nice and good voice acting, its a shame they never completed the story with some sequels
A classic Lucasarts adventure, but maybe not the best one. I played the EGA version, and even though the game is really old, I think the graphics are charming. The pixelart is very impressive with the limited resources they had at the time. The colors stand out nicely, and sprites are cute. There is not a lot of music, but the tunes that are there, are from the Swan Lake Ballet. Puzzles mostly make sense once you get an idea of how the thread system works. With being able to reverse a spell being a nice touch. Story feels like there is more lore than fit in the short game, and the ending left me feeling a little unsated.

Another classic point&click adventure game, but without a classic verbal interface. Instead you're using notes to magically spin your way through a mystical world of the old guilds.

This was my first retro point-and-click, and it made me fall in love with the genre! I loved the main mechanic, and how it forced me to think differently. Really fun voice acting, as well.
