Opposing Force returns to the same setting as Half-Life, but instead portrays the events from the perspective of a U.S. Marine, one of the enemy characters in the original game. The player character, Adrian Shephard, is sent in to neutralize the Black Mesa Research Facility after a scientific mishap causes it to be invaded by aliens, but quickly finds that the Marines are outnumbered and slowly being beaten back by a second alien race and black operations units.

A | In order to at least get a taste of the original Half Life experience (as opposed to just doing Black Mesa) I went back and completed both Blue Shift and Opposing Force, the original DLCs of this venerable title. Забагованная поделка школьца-фаната халфы. Очень душная, но почему-то сильно любимая халфадр***рами. На финальном боссе вылетела раз 5, поджигая мой пердак. Благо, сохраняться можно в любой момент.

Gearbox изобрели идиотский дизайн и растягивание игрового процесса. Добавили фишки, которые не дополняют геймплей, вместо различных игровых ситуаций натыкали коридоров с перестрелками. Хуже чем HL1 во всём.

La verdadera expansion para Half-Life. Oppossing force nos muestra OOOOOOOOOOtra perspectiva al accidente de black mesa, poniendonos en las botas de nuestros enemigos los HECU, con el comandante Adrian Shepard como personaje principal. Y ahora si tenemos mas variedad que en blue shift. Nuevos monstruos, la raza X junto a los conocidos Xenianos de la entrega original y se suman los soldados de la Black Ops junto a las asesinas ya conocidas, quienes no solo quieren limpiar black mesa de su personal si no de nosotros tambien. Nuevas armas! muy diferentes a las de gordon freeman, ya que en vez de usar el cañon tau, la gluon cannon o el lanzadardos xen nosotros tenemos un barnacle que podemos usar para trepar techos y paredes, una pistola de portales bastante inutil y varias armas de la raza X como un lanzagranadas alienigena y una pistola de dardos electricos. Asi como armas militares como un rifle francotirador en vez de la ballesta y una ametralladora m246 que rompe todo. Y al contrario de la versátil palanca de Gordon tenemos una Llave stillson para ataques pesados y un cuchillo de combate para ataques rapidos. Todas estas novedades en una historia y escenarios nuevos, con nuevas opciones jugables como llevar compañeros de patrulla y darles ordenes, aunque son bastante estupidos. Aún asi, una de las mejores expansiones del mundo videojueguil. Si te gustó HL1, jugate por favor Oppossing Force. Y blue shift tambien, porque no?.

9 из 10 Это просто отличная игра! Я прошла игру полностью, плюс поиграла на сетевом режиме. Хочу отметить плюсы: - естественно, планета Зен и пейзажи, а также необычные существа, которые безобидные; - оружие, портальная пушка, различные щупальца на оружии; - есть военный врач, это было прикольно, наблюдать как лечат товарища; - на сетевом режиме можно выбирать скин персонажа и логотип, а также цвет, можно менять название игрока; - очень понравилась функция выбора скина на сетевом режиме. Также, есть и минусы: - опять-таки прыжковые прохождения, застреваешь на некоторых местах; - трудное прохождение боссов, в канализации, тонеллях, и естественно, финальный босс, к которому нужно 4-5 подхода для победы, а урон наносится не малый, но там есть и источник, но до него нужно ещё добежать; - напарники, иногда трудно понять, когда будут стрелять в тебя; - ниндзя, эх, слишком быстрые и ловкие. В общем, игра пройдена, понравилась, рекомендую!

Найдинамічніша (за рахунок більшої кількості зброї) частина із серії Half-Life 1 в якій ми граємо за капрала Андріана Шепарда (ми рятували світ від прибульців до того як це стало мейнстримом) який має під командуванням загін спецназівців, які повинні спіймати Гордона Фрімена і заодно зачистити Чорну Мезу.

"Return to Black Mesa" Half-Life: Opposing Force is, let's say, an independent add-on that expands the Half-Life universe quite well. Here we play as a commando, whose main task is to eliminate Gordon Freeman himself. New weapons, new enemies, and slightly changed locations. By the time of passing the game is not long and in one evening you can go through it with pleasure. Due to the lack of knowledge of the English language, it upsets that the game does not even have subtitles.
