It's well-made and rather short, which is refreshing. For the price they ask for it, it is great fun! The last fight can be infuriating, though, since it was drawn out for way too long.

Ну чёта блять хуй его знает... Вроде как всё нормально, но скучно. Игре явно не хватает чего-то. Вроде есть хорошие идеи и реализованы они неплохо, но мало. Игра очень короткая, часа на 4, но я не смог заставить себя её пройти. Дропнул на последнем уровне, потому что даже за такое коротко время она успела заебать.

Short game, got it from Amazon Prime so yeah, just popped it in for a bit. Overall a good small package, not bad for an indie of this scope. Things get hectic, as the main way of upping difficulty has been by throwing more enemies at you, swarm tactics really work, though it can be annoying. There's as much running around as there is fighting, but otherwise the mechanics are good, the timing is generous for dodging and parrying.

At first it was all good, very fun, enjoyed the combat, then it turned into an annoying button mashing with waves after waves of enemies, which are mostly vulnerable to throwable objects. My sword was close to useless in such conditions. Game lost its edge for me.

VOUS, soyez sur VOS gardes surtout ! Le jeu a beau avoir un habillage fort sympathique, il n'en est pas moins difficile d'en venir à bout. J'ai joué le jeu en "intermédiaire" et j'ai dû repasser en mode "facile" pour passer certains combats où j'ai failli jeter ma manette par la fenêtre (j'ai joue le jeu en été). Pour des casual players, le jeu est quand même un peu intense par moment. Ne vous découragez pas ! Je dirai que le jeu est tout public, facile à conseiller malgré tout. Bravo au studio qui a fait passer un jeu étudiant au stade de jeu complet ! Gros GG !

En garde! é um jogo cheio de carisma com um combate bastante satisfatório e cômico, é possível atordoar os inimigos jogando coisas em suas cabeças, um balde pra bloquear a visão e até um frango! Derrubar de escadas ou lugares altos, usar explosivos e até canhões, isso tudo em arenas muito bem arrumadas graças ao game design incrível

A surprisingly fun game! The combat felt really nice and all the environmental stuff you could do made most encounters feel like a puzzle on how to outsmart your enemies. The story was mediocre and predictable, but the gameplay was so good I didn't mind.

If Zorro was a female then Adalia de Volador would be it. From all the past games I've played that's catered towards story and action, En Garde! was a refreshing take to the genre this year 2024. The story was splendid and easy to follow with funny dialogues from the cast. It almost feels like watching a kid's movie where you play as the heroine and stop the villain's diabolical plan. The visuals may remind you of Sifu or Fortnite but that's what makes the game so charming and gives a better experience. The soundtrack is great and it keeps me hyped and pumped up from all the encounters. I think it's best to start the game on easy mode to get used to combat system and learn how the enemy's AI works because it does get challenging as you go on. Especially when you're facing a mob and it becomes difficult and unforgiving. Fortunately you can use the environment to your advantage with throwable objects to either distract or stun your enemies as you take them down one by one. After finishing the campaign, you can improve and test your skills in the arena mode. The healing can be a bit tricky because it only happens when you beat all of them or certain enemies. Though it's not too much of learning curve to learn how to parry or dodge at the right moment. If any, this game makes me practice my reaction time and how to play better. All in all, I had so much fun playing this game from the wit and thrill of a swashbuckling vigilante and would highly recommend this to everyone. Going to keep an eye out on the developers and looking forward to their future games. Spoilers: Adalia x Zadia <3

Приємна коротенька пригода на 4-5 годин. В міру складна, весела, місцями навіть кумедна. Вороги в цілому не надто складні, завчити тактику можна на них швидко, єдиний мінус - це коли їх стає дуже багато, от тоді боївка може місцями бісити через кривенький таргет на ворогах та навіть місцями атаки повз ворогів нашої героїні. Сюжет теж максимально простий і очевидний з вкрапленням карикатури і гумору. В цілому, на скидках 50% точно можна брати, також додали українську мову, за що розробникам велика подяка!

En Garde! was a lovely little surprise. Fun, fast and stylish combat. Cheesey jokes. Bright colours and over the top characters. This is a goofy and fun and you'll laugh along the way. Could of been a bit longer!
