A philosophical first-person WRPG set in a dystopian 2052 in which JC Denton, a nano-augmented agent for the anti-terrorist organization UNATCO, is tasked with stopping the invasion of Liberty Island by the terrorist group NSF. As events unfold, Denton finds that he plays a large part in a world-spanning conspiracy which forces him to ponder his allegiances, beliefs, morality, and view of right and wrong.

This game is very good and very ahead of its time!
One of my treasured games from childhood. This felt like the start of where modern day games delve from, ahem Cyberpunk. The customization, story paths, intricate details to actions and every aspect of the game really gave me the sense of playing a secret agent in a futuristic world. The gameplay is dated with AI's acting funny at times but this was decades ago and you'll like the maturity of the topic of global affairs and how large entities operate.
A steroid version of Perfect Dark. A game I played multiple times over to discover something new and they are still finding Easter eggs... what a wild experience. Great game, totally recommend.
PRO: the deep philosophical debates on the workings of society and how the ones in power do anything to abuse it
CON: the in-game fonts are barely legible on modern computers

ABSOLUTE best in the franchise and probably the genre. Great demonstration of the "Mess around and find out" type of gameplay. or "What does this button do? Where does this vent go?" The freedom in deciding which path towards the objective you want to take is mindblowing considering how old this game is.
Perhaps I shouldn't have played this in a "Realistic" game difficulty, as that results to one-shot kills against me. LOL. But that didn't take much out of the enjoyment I overall felt.
Already an all-time fave even after just one playthrough.
ImSim fans were eating good around this time. Playing it for more than its demo was long overdue for me, but the game is amazing so many years after its release. Level design, progression and different approaches make it a long satisfying game with replayability.
