Orion a.k.a. Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty Main game v2.0 update: +rebalance gives you a chance at completing any mission at any level +hard difficulties become actually hard +many new-ish abilities and weapons +cops are not omnipotent death machines anymore +new economy is really fluid, but also allows you to get too much money +new cyberware cap adds realism +fashion is separated from stats +cars are easier to get now -horrible new balance, especially for hacking and stealth - can't down most enemies unless you min-max A LOT, even tho they promote changing your build on the move -netrunning is dead -many mechanics just deleted for no reason - they are literally still in the tutorial -new passives and weapon mods barely make sense and are also ugly "+0.0453 to crit chance when enemy hasn't showered for 0.23204 weeks" -still a bunch of bugs and clunky scripts DLC: +really nice new endings +great side quests +tons of unique weapons and characters +feels like there was effort put in +lots of new ideas and game mechanics that for some reason were never in the main game +can do some insane unhinged stuff +integrated into the main game really well, but the map is a tiny street and hard to get to -really tropey - your average "normal US citizen (sleeping agent) saves the president" -antagonist is tropey and don't feel relatable at all, especially the metal one -game tropes everywher - loot hidden behind the corner, jumping section, etc -SCRIPTED TO HELL - devs got no chill for certain mission checkpoints -actors being too dramatic - one literally only talks with his back to you -tiny map size packed with stuff to do - could've spread out and improved performance -lemme be straight - Songbird is literally a f###ing Life Is Strange character -most new abilities are either unnecessary or just nerfed old ones -most shops are literally useless now 100%ed the game several times. It's a nice addition story-wise, but gameplay got ruined with v2.0. Revamping the police would be enough. Standalone Cyberpunk was a well-rounded, touching story, but the DLC is just a fan-service for people who didn't really give a f##k about the consistency and atmosphere.
