Really good game to keep your community engaged while streaming on twitch , even if you dont wanna progress the main story and do the action roguelike part of the game, you can stay and make it cozy farming and building game.

CULT OF THE LAMB 84 "Running with the devil" GRAFICA:8+ SONORO:7 GIOCABILITA':8 LONGEVITA':8 TRAMA:8 ATMOSFERA:8 1/2 +Innovativo e coraggioso +Gameplay variegato +Ottima parte gestionale -Combat system sblianciato -Ripetitività fisiologica dei roguelite -Nient'altro Mi piace premiare i titoli meritevoli , ma ancora di più quelli innovativi: questo indie sviluppato da massive monster è un incrocio tra un roguelite ed un gestionale alla animal crossing solo in… veste satanica. Cult of the lamb è divertente e capace di creare assuefazione agli amanti dei gestionali ma è anche in grado di divertire chi questo genere non se lo è mai filato troppo grazie alla parte roguelite che, seppur molto semplicistica riesce ad integrarsi alla perfezione con la controparte gestionale. La storia , così come il contesto , risulta buffa ma molto funzionale ed il titolo è pensato per durare all’infinito come simulatore di villaggio quindi chi non si caga i gestionali una volta visti i titoli di coda difficilmente continuerà a giocare. Il gestionale funziona benissimo e l’interazione coi followers è molto ben calcolata: quando questi muoiono ci si dispiace per davvero( ma poi ci si fa l’abitudine) , gli costruisce una degna sepoltura e si va avanti. Graficamente molto ispirato, Cult of the lamb è tanto bello da vedere quanto ricco di cose da fare. Passeremo ore a coltivare , costruire, eseguire rituali, craftare e combattere. Ed è proprio questo ultimo aspetto il meno riuscito del gioco: l’esplorazione nelle mappe procedurali è divertente ma il combat è ridotto a 3 meccaniche : attacco melee, schivata e attacco curse. Ci sono diverse armi che puoi pescare(il sistema di carte è simile a quello del Dandy Ace) ma alla fine il gameplay non si diversifica molto: dodgiare e attaccare è sempre la scelta migliore anche se ci sta pure un netto sbilanciamento in favore delle armi lente che,essendo ridirezionabili durante l’esecuzione dell’ attacco, permettono di annullare l’animazione e schivare nel frattempo in caso di necessità, qualora con le veloci stai sempre in combo e non riusciresti a schivare in tempo(oltre che a infliggere molti meno danni). Insomma il combat system è sufficiente ma si vede chiaramente che non è il fulcro del gioco: è un discreto contorno. Quello che esalta è l’atmosfera dissacrante che si respira e la personalizzazione estrema del proprio culto. Cult of the lamb è un ottimo gioco: un indie variegato, coraggioso , innovativo che un po’ tutti dovrebbero giocare. Consigliato a occhi chiusi.

Adorable, but boring. Gameplay loop becomes repetitive, and once you know what you're doing and get a bunch of upgrades like half the game becomes an annoyance rather than a challenge. I think if they make a second game they'll fix a lot of these issues, but in this game it's kind of more of a novelty than it is an interesting mechanic.
