The Machine Age has begun in the immersive and atmospheric squad-based shooter Binary Domain. Regain control of a futuristic Tokyo from an emerging robotic threat in the year 2080. The story starts when Dan Marshall and his squad are sent to bring the robotic community under control as they begin to infiltrate society and slowly take over undetected, leaving humans redundant in their wake. Fighting through the derelict lower levels of the city, players control an international peace-keeping squad that soon starts to question their surroundings and the choices they make. Are the robots becoming more human, or are humans becoming more like machines? Thrilling encounters with these highly intelligent robotic enemies require you to think tactically, make challenging, real-time moral decisions and build up trust with your team mates in order to guide your squad to safety and success.

I knew I was going to have issues with this game as soon as I went to try and play it. You can't change ANY of the game settings in game that you would need to be in game to change. Want to change your resolution or graphical settings after you find out how the game is going to run? Time to exit the game. Want to rearrange your controls because you don't like how something is set up? Time to exit the game. And, if you're running multiple monitors, make sure you pick the right number, because they go 0, 1, and so forth, instead of 1, 2, and so forth. It wasn't extremely horrible, but wasn't great, and after the little over an hour I played of it, it wasn't enough to keep me interested to deal with more of it.

Binary Domain[b] is a third-person shooter video game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. It was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in February 2012 and Microsoft Windows in April 2012. The game is set in Tokyo, Japan, in the year 2080. It features innovative artificial intelligence technology. The game is set in a world where global warming has caused worldwide flooding, leaving much of the world uninhabitable. As a result, robots were used as the main labor force. The game features a consequence system, which decides how non-playable characters in the squad view and trust the player in story mode. The game also features seven different multiplayer modes, with five classes being available for players to choose. It was conceived by Toshihiro Nagoshi, who created the Yakuza video game series. The characters of Binary Domain were created with making realistic personalities and behavior in mind. The Consequence System was created to make the game as a competitive game in the third-person shooter genre. The game received mixed to positive reviews upon launch, with critics praising the game's story and Consequence System. However, it received criticisms regarding its voice recognition system. The game sold only 20,000 copies in North America by April 2012.😱
