É a origem do Batman.

much worse than asylum or city. also very buggy making completion pure rng
Basically, this is Arkham City but less down the fun, flying in this game felt more like the pain in the ass, take down enemy animation slow and unskipable, dumb navigation and no one asked multiplayer mod. The best in this game only about the story and cool boss fight, opps I almost forgot about the cinematic cutscene, yeah the goodking cool.

I find it really funny when in a prequel the characters have more advanced resources than in stories that are supposed to come later and in which they have more experience.

A decent prequel, though flawed in places. Glad to see that after a time they fixed a game killing bug that had been present with my first (off stream) playthrough. Still not quite up to the standard of the main trilogy, but then they are hard acts to follow.

🌦️ Introduction
Batman: Arkham Origins serves as a prequel to the highly acclaimed Arkham series, exploring a younger, less experienced Batman facing off against a fresh batch of notorious villains. Despite being developed by a different studio, the game successfully captures the essence of what made the original Arkham games so beloved. While it doesn’t quite live up to the high bar set by its predecessors, it still offers an engaging experience for both Batman fans and action game enthusiasts.
🖥️ Visuals
The visuals in Arkham Origins are solid, presenting a darker and gritty Gotham City that is beautifully rendered. While not as refined as Arkham City, the graphics hold up well with impressive character models and atmospheric environments. The world of Gotham is rich in detail, with lighting and shadow effects enhancing the overall mood.
🎮 Gameplay
The gameplay is familiar to anyone who has played the Arkham series: a mix of fluid combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The freeflow combat system, where Batman takes on groups of enemies in smooth, continuous action, remains as satisfying as ever. However, Arkham Origins introduces some minor tweaks and new mechanics, such as the ability to use new gadgets and counter the occasional boss battles with more complexity. While fun, the game feels slightly more linear than previous installments and doesn’t offer as much freedom.
📖 Story
The story of Batman: Arkham Origins focuses on a younger, more reckless Batman in his early years of crime-fighting, facing off against Black Mask and other iconic villains. The narrative delves into Batman’s struggle with his identity and the consequences of his actions. While the story is engaging and full of twists, it doesn’t quite have the same emotional weight or depth as Arkham Asylum or Arkham City. However, it’s still a great ride for those who enjoy Batman’s world.
🎧 Audio
The voice acting in Arkham Origins is solid, with Roger Craig Smith stepping into the role of Batman and Troy Baker delivering an excellent performance as the Joker. The soundtrack complements the atmosphere, providing an orchestral score that enhances key moments, though it doesn’t stand out as much as previous games. The sound design in general helps bring Gotham to life with ambient noise, combat effects, and voice work all contributing to the immersive experience.
🥂 Overall
Batman: Arkham Origins is a solid addition to the Arkham series, though it doesn’t quite reach the heights of its predecessors. With an engaging story, excellent voice acting, and satisfying gameplay, it’s a worthwhile experience for fans of Batman and action games. While the game does have a few minor bugs and can feel a bit repetitive at times, it’s still a strong entry that provides a solid amount of entertainment. Wait for a sale, but if you’re a fan of Batman, it’s definitely worth a play. The game's flaws are minor compared to its strengths.
