Have you ever wanted to play a D&D campaign, but you don't have any friends? Well, boy do I have a game for you! Baldur's Gate is one of the best RPGS from the era. Lovely environmental and sound design. The characters can use some work, and sometimes the dialogue turns into massive text dumps, but this game has soul and purpose. I did play the Enhanced Edition which added one or two decent quality of life changes. This version also introduces some new characters which aren't written like anything else in the base game, and stick out like a sore fucking thumb. If you ever want to get into this genre of game. THIS IS THE STARTING POINT.

The combat is clumsy and at times unwieldy. The voice acting is down right strange at times, but there is a great sequel underneath it all. This game is a fantastic example of going above and beyond your previous works. I hate that this is the Silent Hill that gets all the props especially with Silent Hill 1 and 3 telling a far more interesting story. I DID COME HERE TO PLAY YOU KNOW! The 10 Star run was probably one of the last times I had fun trying a survival horror challenge attempt, but the other game's NG+ options completely wash this one.
