I recently played through Gun Nac and really enjoyed it. The difficulty really ramped up for the final two stages, so it felt great to get the win. I played the Japanese version with the original sprites and cut scenes, though I imagine the English version was just as fun. Here's the final boss fight, which was in two phases.
