Katamari is all about the rhythm of collecting a bunch of shit in a level to make your ball bigger and bigger. A lot of the time you try to eyeball what you can and can't pickup given your side, go cleanup part of an area, go to a new area, once you're bigger return to the previous area to clean up the rest, and finish the objective with a strict but not unfair time limit. A solid and super repeatable gameplay loop, with fun personality with the levels themselves and with the King of Cosmos between levels, and it was a fun game to go through.

A ver teniendo en cuenta que es un juego que va de rodar una bola e ir pegando to lo que pilles la mecánica está clara, pero dentro de ahí la verdad es que me lo esperaba más aburrido dadas las limitaciones pero para nada es super irreverente y nunca pensé que pudiese haber variedad y diversión en girar un bolón apoteósico pero si, si que la hay. Recomendado si te apetece pasar el rato haciendo bolas en las que pegas abuelas y rinocerontes mientras un señor chad gigante en leotardos te habla del sentido de la existencia ❤️

Fans were right about this being such a step above the original Katamari Damacy. A superb remake of an absolute cult classic, instantly one of my all-time favorites.

Katamari is always a game that rules, I think theres a reason this game is timeless! The King is way more bearable in this version of the game. Cows & bears are a constant, but I genuinely love all the new modes in here and all those cute things. The ending is awesome too. I think everything hits the beats right, but the reroll porting is kinda alright, feel like some of the visual glitches and preformance issues with Dipper on the 100% level on Switch. But i really love how this game all came together! still finishing the rose one to get 1 million Roses, but Katamari will always be in my heart and I hope the PSP on and Bueatiful will be coming soon!!
