I don't think Trine 2 was as good as Trine however I really love how they upgraded the artwork and gave it more depth. I had fun playing through it with my friends.

A | Second verse, same as the first! Trine 2 had all the great elements of the first game – Fun puzzles, seamless gameplay, a simple and charming design, and the ease-of-play, with the added bonuses of continued amazing backgrounds and a slightly better story and DLC. While I did have some lag issues (which, let’s face it, is expected when doing CO-OP with people all the way across the world), that was only of minor impact and not really the game’s fault. As opposed to a lot of my other reviews, I honestly don’t have much more to say. Trine and Trine 2 are in the same “tier” for me, but Trine 2 took a winning formula and made it again, if ever so slightly better. The Trine series so far is shaping up to be another major win in the “indie games” category for me, so I hope the rest of the games can keep up!
