Trials of Mana is a full high definition remake of the third entry in the Mana series, previously exclusively released in Japan in 1995 as Seiken Densetsu 3. Trials of Mana tells the story of six heroes as they battle against the monsters of destruction that threaten a world where Mana has been weakened. Players can customize their own party of three, selected from six unique characters, to experience different stories.

Want to come back to this at some point it is quite enjoyable, I think I just had a few new titles to play around the same time as playing this so I didn't finish it (Trophies Earned 12/44)

Ой мда... Ремейк игры 1995 года... Хуже чем оригинал. Как? Square Enix - вот как. Что изменилось в лучшую сторону: - Квест маркеры. Теперь они есть и нет больше проблем с "КУДА МНЕ БЛЯТЬ ИДТИ????" - Игра в целом стала менее душной. - Сисек навалили я ебал Что стало хуже: - Геймплей просто одноклеточный. Просто дауби пока всё не сдохнет, даже на высокой сложности. - ГРАФОН ПРОЕБАЛИ КУДА???? Оригинал - это пиздец какая красота и пиксель арт на максималках. Тут же блять самое дешёвое 3D которое только можно представить. Выглядит как игра для мобилок (на которые её со временем и портировали, кек). И дело даже не в технической части, а в дизайне. Его просто нет. на отъебись напихали всего и "и так сойдёт". Музыку особо не трогали. Некоторые треки получили аранжировки с живыми инстркмкнтами, но большинство просто "ремастернули" в более высоком качестве. Ещё тут пост-гейм какой-то добавили, но это пиздец какое гриндовое уныние, так что я на него забил. Ну кароч чё... Сойдёт, но каловато. Единственное что заставляло меня её не дропать - это желание посмотреть насколько они всрали ту красоту что была в оригинале (очень сильно)

Eine schicke Neuauflage mit ganz coolen Charakteren. Die Story war okay und das Team verhält sich nicht wie eine Gruppe, aber das Kämpfen hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht!

A remake of the classic Seiken Densetsu 3, which (at the time of this writing) I have never played, but which was the sequel to Secret of Mana, which I believe to be one of the greatest SNES RPGs out there (and probably among the top JRPGs of ANY system. First, the good: The music for the remake appears to be fairly similar to the "classic" music, which the remake purports to let you select on the options screen. The visuals are vibrant and generally quite nice (I greatly enjoyed seeing all the familiar enemies from Secret of Mana in 3D), however there is quite a bit of bad clipping on the various character models. Additionally, the devs spend WAY too much time lingering on the posterior regions of the underage female protagonists, especially Angela, to the point where I felt I had to address it in my stream as each successive class change caused her outfit to withdraw further into the crevices of her body. Similar attention was paid to Belladonna, and a good number of other female characters as well...I'm guy, I get it, but this game takes it to a point where it seems cringey. Story was...okay. The fact that there are so many possible party arrangements means that the story could only be SO complex without becoming burdensome, however there were several instances of Deus Ex Machina, rapid "flythroughs" of what should have been important story points, etc...in fact a great deal of the story feels rushed, as though the devs were more interested in getting you through the story than they were building up a strong, coherent narrative. Overall, the gameplay was fun, but the balancing on the boss fights was quite poor, with some boss fights boiling down to simply slugging it out for 20-30 minutes against an enemy with way too many hit points, while later bosses felt trivial...I never spent any significant time grinding, and while I BARELY survived a fight against two nameless thieves in the desert (and a magic wall, before that), my battle against the Dragon God Emperor to beat the main storyline was over in about 90 seconds, no sweat. Overall, the game was enjoyable enough (and has decent replay value due to New Game+ and the multiple antagonists / endings), however unless you are a fan of the genre or have some sort of nostalgia towards the original, I don't consider it a "must play" title.

I played this for the first time on my PS4 and fell in love with it. I will admit I messed up on the classes I wanted so i had to restart, but a game worth playing.
