Achievements - 67 % Difficulty - Normal Best Character - None Best Song/Ost - None Overall a quite fine game, a lot of shooting, the story is not very interesting and the game is mainly gameplay focused. Depending on your playstyle the game can be more or less interesting. My approach was not super interesting, mainly using the invicibility to change positions during the fight and then use the slow motion to kill multiple enemies. The fights themselves are very entertaining. The story separation into missions was fine.

Trepang2 didn't quite live up to the "spiritual successor to F.E.A.R." hype that I expected. A lot of the level design was confusing, as was the story until the very end of a short narrative. Its best moments are the fast-pace (and slow-motion) gun battles. I would have liked more of that and less stealth and sneaking through overly dark environments.

"Arena F.E.A.R." Trepang2 is a very dynamic and entertaining shooter, where the combat system is similar to the combat system of the game F.E.A.R. not only creates a WOW effect on first impressions, but also practically covers all the disadvantages of the game. The combat system, along with the rich and good picture of Trepnag2, can compete even with high-budget projects in terms of visuals. Although Trepang2 is essentially an indie project. And for an indie game, the game itself is made very cool. Unfortunately, apart from the combat system and good graphics, the game cannot boast of anything else. Not only is the game short and can be completed fairly quickly (about 6 hours on average), but the plot itself is very mediocre, made according to old patterns. If the main plot is not enough for you, then there are also side quests, which are small arenas with different goals. And if that’s not enough for you, then welcome to survival mode The AI of the opponents also does not reach the level of F.E.A.R, but I would not write that the enemy is downright stupid. Rather, the work was completed at an average level. The arsenal of weapons is also quite meager, but the shooting itself is not bad. As an indie game, Trepang2 is very good, but it can’t compete with the mastodons of arena shooters (DOOM. Serious Sam, Shadow Warrior, and so on).

amazing fast paced shooter, but limited indie budget shows itself very often, if the sales fund expansions I'm gonna be very happy (it's not f.e.a.r. btw)

Fantastic graphics, short game, the game is able to instill dread and then play that dread up in terms of horror, but as a full horror package, the game isn't as scary as a lot of the reviews I read. There were a couple bugs but man is this game pretty and the gunplay is really nice. The OST is alright, it's a bit sullied due to the fact that the audio balancing is all over the place, which really hurts the experience, but you can also turn off the music and play the DOOM soundtrack, and have a very good time.
