Story

When compared to other early access titles, the Tokyo Xtreme Racer reboot is one of the best out there in my opinion. The game already feels very well-refined, with a rewarding progression path that makes the work put into new unlocks feel worth it. The handling model is fun, and the gameplay loop being a tip of the hat to the older TXR titles is always a great touch. Beautiful world, car models are nice... there really isn't much this game doesn't need, the only notable example being that the AI model for the opponents is a bit inconsistent at times. But above all else, the best part? It's a fully-fledged single player experience with no need to be connected to the internet. The game is a very nice breath of fresh air and I can't wait until the full release!
