Through the Woods is a third-person psychological horror game set in a forest on the western shore of Norway about a mother and her missing son. Through dynamic narration, you play the mother's re-telling of the events surrounding her son's disappearance in a setting heavily influenced by Norse mythology and Norwegian folk tales.

For what mostly plays as a walking simulator, I forgot how spooky this game can get. The sound design is so well done I honestly felt like the storm and such were outside my window. The writing sometimes comes as a bit forced for the sake of an emotional line, but it's still well done - especially for a game that started as a school project.

I would not have classified this as Horror at all. Great Suspense game and interesting story. Wish the audio levels for the main character were adjusted to match the rest of the game.

Nota: 9,77 / 14,27 Eu achei muito doido que começou ela contando uma história que o marido abandonou ela e o filho, e aí no fim ela fez o que fez. Os gráficos são ok. Eu acho legal que eles colocaram muitos personagens da mitologia nórdica, tem vários diferentes, o que pra mim é legal, né, de não ser só um. É uma história triste, eu achei curioso o plot twist que no final ela que quebrou o braço do menino, e aí ela ia pedir divórcio e tirar o filho do marido, e aí ela incriminou ele, aí ele foi preso e se matou e tipo, sabe? Eu gostei do jogo, 9,77 é uma nota muito boa considerando o tipo do jogo assim, porque ele não tem muitos detalhes de elementos. Tu entra num negócio, lê uma historinha, um papelzinho e acabou, era só isso. Mas eu gostei, achei legal, esperava outro jogo, não que esse seja ruim.

The world is beautiful, and for the most part the controls are good. The story is crazy, confusing, and not very satisfying once you figure it all out.
