In The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, you play as Paul Prospero, an occult detective who receives a disturbing letter from Ethan Carter and realizes that the boy is in grave danger. When Paul arrives in Ethan's home of Red Creek Valley, he realizes things are even worse than he imagined. Ethan has vanished in the wake of a brutal murder, which Paul comes to see might not be the only murder to investigate. Using both regular and supernatural detective skills, Paul must figure out what happened to the missing boy.

Ce jeu est pour moi particulier parce que je l'ai recommencé 2 fois (à sa sortie et quelque année après) sans jamais réussir à avancer, le jeu ne nous aide pas du tout surtout au début ou c'est forcément simple de comprendre comment il fonctionne, cette fois j'étais décidée de m'aider d'une soluce au cas ou pour pouvoir le faire. Le scénario est étrange on arrive dans un village abandonné dans le but de comprendre ce qui s'est passé, il se passe des trucs étranges en rapport avec un esprit maléfique. On voit tres vite des cadavres et on doit comprendre de qui s'est passé et c'est la le soucis, toute les fois ou j'ai testé le jeu j'ai pas compris ça jusqu'à aujourd'hui. J'ai pu faire le jeu en entier, et au final il est très énigmatique et donne envie d'avancer pour comprendre tout, tres sympa ! Par contre il freeze sans arret sur mon pc.

I really don't appreciate when I have absolutely no clue how to progress in a game. What I did enjoy the most in this one was the graphics. Game is too gorgeous, that much is obvious. Don't know if I'll give it a second chance.

"Ok donc là je fais ça, là je vais là... OK ! Donc maintenant je vais là bas et on en saura plus sur ce qui leur est arrivé et QUEOIIIIII ??? Attends mais c'est quoi ce bordel WTF on est où là ?" Autant vous dire qu'on en vit des choses folle dans ce jeu, et globalement c'est très bien, surprenant, on valide très fort ce petit jeu fort joli pour sa date de sortie (vraiment c'est ouf comme c'est beau) Allez, partez enquêter je sais que vous en avez envie (et vous avez raison) !
