It's a fun spin on roguelites with a fair progression-curve. I do recommend looking at the settings and ticking the box, so the dogs always live. And yes, you can pet them all!

Loved the game, but running the same trails over and over again quickly got old, from a replay-ability aspect. I feel its a game to enjoy until completion, and then never touch it again. If possible, it might be better to rent this game or play it as part of a gamepass-type deal rather than purchasing it (unless you also desire to support the devs/studio). Loved the fact the musher was voiced by Aloy herself, Ashly Burch!!

Survive, explore, find your way, craft. take care of your dogs and develop a reliationship with them. Lovely idea, even for a non-dog-person as yours truly. Enjoyed the game very much! High replay value, or should i say: it is compulsory to retry. Content/EUR-ratio a little low imho, so better wait for a sale on this one. Full Steam review: Very short game, where you have to make your way through the icy wilderness to a cottage, which is supposed to become your new home. basic, yet good enough graphics. Enough loot to make it through, if you do not give up. Every turn matters - different loot in different locations make passing the snowy area easier. Do not give up! Obviously one is NOT supposed to make it through on the first try anyway! The better you get, the more skill perks you get, and this adds to your chances to survive. I liked this game very much! Only the price is a little bit high in my opinion, so better wait for a sale. Nevertheless nice story, great voice actress and good replay value.

It's easy to run into duplicate scenarios in this Oregon Trail-style roguelike, but there was a dog named Igloo who introduced herself by popping up from under a snowbank, so GOTY.
