GRAFICA:7/8 SONORO:7/8 GIOCABILITA':7/8 LONGEVITA':8 TRAMA:8+ ATMOSFERA:8+ +Storia e personaggi bene caratterizzati +Irriverente e parodistico +Ottima integrazione tra main quest e sub quest -Non osa sul finale -Ottimizzazione PC da bocciare -Un po' troppo facile Avrei diversi amici a cui consigliare The outer worlds perchè ho diversi amici fan accaniti dei Fallout tridimensionali. Sviluppato dagli Obsidian, creatori appunto di Fallout new vegas e del Kotor 2,The outer worlds è un progetto "doppia A" dalle tinte spaziali che a mio avviso più che essere un clone degli ultimi Fallout è una sorta di fusione tra Fallout 3 e Mass Effect; è infatti da questi due giochi che il titolo degli Obsidian sembra attingere a mani basse per quanto riguarda gameplay(Fallout) e ambientazione(Mass Effect). Ciò che ne è uscito è indubbiamente un titolo di qualità, grazie alla storia che si sviluppa attraverso queste missioni in questa colonia terrestre di nome Alcione che si trova sull'orlo della rovina a causa della mal gestione del governo terrestre colono di nome "Consiglio" che estende il suo dominio su quasi tutta la colonia spaziale. Noi saremo un colono risvegliatosi dopo 70 anni di ibernazione su una nave per decenni creduta sparita grazie all'aiuto di un pazzoide scienziato. La trama ben figura(apparte un finale un po' telefonato e senza molto coraggio) e si integra piuttosto bene con la fitta rete di missioni secondarie comunque importanti che si vanno ad intersecare con la storia ed ampliano enormemente la nostra conoscenza del background che viviamo: chi gioca questo gioco senza farsi tutte le secondarie,che non sono manco poi cosi tante, si perde un buon 70 % dell'esperienza. Promossi anche i personaggi che incontreremo, sia i comprimari( pochi ma ognuno con le proprie motivazioni, ideali e missioni personali)sia i personaggi secondari nemici o alleati. Nessuno di questi risulta essere indimenticabile però, non ho trovato personalità di spicco che mi porterei dentro anche se nell'insieme l'esperienza narrativa ben figura soprattutto grazie ad alcune citazioni piuttosto ironiche ed irriverenti al capitalismo di cui l'opera degli Obsidian sembra voler prendersi gioco. Tecnicamente il gioco è davvero ben fatto: volti, ambienti ed interni sono belli da vedere per una produzione non tripla A anche se devo bacchettare enormemente l'ottimizzazione fatta per il PC. Con una GTX 1060,capace di far girare a 60 fps fissi dettagli alti in 1440p Devil May Cry 5, mi sono trovato costretto a giocare in 1080p con dettagli mixati tra alti e bassi per arrivare a 60 fps fissi che però scivolavano in varie occasioni quando mi trovavo nella mappa aperta. Con il senno di poi avrei fatto meglio a giocarlo su XBOX one vista la sua presenza gamepass pure li'. Il doppiaggio inglese è ben fatto ma nel gioco(cosi come il suo maestro Fallout) ci sono davvero tanti effetti sonori derivanti dalla città,natura, creature e macchinari a discapito delle musiche: poche e abbastanza flat. Si tratta di un GDR con una forte componente shooter in prima persona: si spara con un quantitativo di armi varie notevoli(e pure ampiamente personalizzabili) ma gli scontri almeno a difficoltà normale risultano essere fin troppo semplici e non ci permettono di sfruttare a fondo tutte le feature del gioco come le abilità passive del PG e dei compagni e l'ampio crafting abbastanza fine a se stesso per quanto riguarda i consumabili. The outer worlds si può completare in 10 ore cosi come in 35, io ho svolto tutte le secondarie ed ho impiegato a vedere i titoli di coda circa 28/29 ore; una durata d'altri tempi se paragonata ai più moderni GDR ma che nel complesso però ho trovato più che giusta perchè non ho provato la sensazione di annoiarmi nemmeno per una volta. The outer worlds è la perfetta fusione tra i Fallout tridimensionali e i Mass Effect, un GDR in prima persona con una buona storia, capace di intrattenere , divertire ed immergere in un mondo coloniale sull'orlo del collasso: le nostre scelte determineranno il futuro dell'intera colonia regalandoci ore di svago a costo di sopportare alcune magagne tecniche su PC dovute ad una brutta ottimizzazione ed una trama con dialoghi brillanti ma incapace di restare impresso a causa di una sorta di mancanza di coraggio da parte degli scrittori soprattutto nel finale un po' spoglio e privo di veri e propri colpi di scena indipendentemente dalla strada intrapresa.

Quest flow is poorly done. Far to many times you are bouncing around for no reason at all. Felt like just a cheap way to stretch the game out. Combat and companion system is hella fun. Story, characters and voice acting is great! Overall the game is enjoyable and I would recommend.

Fait sans DLC. Qu'en dire ? On me l'a vendu comme un "Fallout de l'Espace", et je suis tentée d'être un peu d'accord, mais je le dirais + comme un compliment ! L'univers est assez "bordélique" au sens où c'est la merde, mais enrobé d'humour caustique que je trouve bien dosé. L'histoire sans être folle ou captivante est sympa, et "crédible". Elle aurait méritée peut être d'être plus poussée et laisse un léger goût d'inachevé, mais ça passe bien quand même. On a des choix à faire qui ont de réelles conséquences sur l'éventuelle fin. Niveau compagnons, ils sont majoritairement cools et attachants malgré un petit manque de profondeur. En combat, ils sont réellement utiles la plupart du temps. Les cartes ne sont ni trop petites ni trop grandes, le bestiaire est assez peu variés mais assez pour qu'on aime aller à la baston. L'arsenal est très chouette ! Le style, les effets, les graphismes, tout est pas mal, les musiques sont cools et le gameplay est un plaisir. Léger bémol pour les freeze de perso quand on tente de troller le décor mais largement rattrapé par une absence de vrais bugs par ailleurs (ou j'ai eu du bol, je n'en ai pas vraiment vu) et le fait que je plaide totalement coupable de toujours tenter de passer là où je ne devrais pas ! :D Bref. J'ai passé un très bon moment sur ce jeu !

Started on switch then recently purchased for pc. The story line is enjoyable. Wish it was multiplayer. I get a little lost on where to go next sometimes.

Final got around to beating the game! After 3 false starts I finally sat down and played through the entire game across a week, had a lot of fun once it got going. Great written characters, fun settings plus a bunch of different weapons and abilities to try. Excited to check out Avowed in the future.

This was really fun to play once I got the ball rolling. I just got into the storyline of understanding I can just go with the flow and see how the story plays out with my action. I enjoyed it on the go and just had a good time with the mechanics. I went against the corporation and just was on my own personal journey through this world. Once the credits rolled I was happy to put this down as done on the Switch and will pick it back up on Xbox with better graphics.
