Das Ende war leider unterirdisch. Sonst vermutlich der Teil mit dem ausgefeiltesten Worldbuilding. Allein die Wiki Einträge zu Vivec und Dagoth Ur zeigen, wie viel Mühe sich mit der Ausarbeitung der Charaktere gegeben wurde! Grandios! Leider gibt es gefühlt nur 1 Song im Soundtrack, daher nur 1 Stern, weil das mit der Zeit echt genervt hat. Visuals halten dem Zahn der Zeit stand. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das UI/UX. Gameplay bietet enorm viel Tiefe ohne zu überfordern. Hat man mal das Accuracy System verstanden, trifft man auch die Gegner vernünftig. Sehr inspirierend!

This game is Bethesda's greatest creation by miles! What a pleasure, what an adventure I barely know where to begin describing this golden holy grain of a game, so I'll start at my first memory of this game as a 10-year old when I saw this game in a local games store & got my mom to buy it for my xbox. It was the first experience I had with a truly open world game. My english was not fluent yet at the time & the lack of explanation of the games advanced mechanics did hinder me from progressing further in any questlines or story in any serious way so the hours put into it came to an end in a not so pleasing way since I did want to understand & play it since it seemed very intriguing. Thing was, when I got a xbox360 after that the 4th game of the series, Oblivion was released and soon Morrowind was nothing more than a memory until way after I was done & bored with the 5th game, Skyrim. As the years went by I had grown wiser, better, stronger & had developed a hunger for challenging, advanced & deep games and now was ready to take on the challenge of beating Morrowind. I read up on how the game combat & RPG stats and now with my new knowledge & experience I could finally enjoy the game & devour it's contents with great enjoyment! Having dice-rolled combat based on rpg stats was a new thing for me but fun when I figured it out & realised how I can and should build my character to optimize my build. Having stamina and character movements to affect the combat as well was very interesting. As a kid I was more interested in the combat, which I still am partially but now I also started appreciating the captivating world & lore written by Michael Kirkbride as I felt this was next level stuff compared to most other games. The dialogue & sometimes hilariously wonky, and sometimes really solid dialogues & quests are great still to this day. Sitting here today with about 500h put into the game I can say this is one of the greatest games ever will made and it was revolutionizing! I don't know where action adventure, open world or RPG games would be today without this game.
