Tetris Effect: Connected adds an all-new robust multiplayer expansion to the huge variety of addictive and innovative single-player modes that Tetris Effect is known for. Connect and play with or against each other in all-new modes like "Zone Battle," which shakes up traditional 1-on-1 Tetris gameplay via the time-stopping Zone mechanic, or try the innovative co-op of "Connected" mode, where up to three players can literally connect their Tetris playfields together and play as one, as they work together to take down a series of increasingly-challenging CPU-controlled bosses.

Great VR experience with incredible visuals and soundtrack. The levels get progressively harder, making the ending feel like you accomplished something. Lots of replay value.

It's really awkward because I recommend having the visor on but not playing with the VR controllers; use like an xbox or ps controller instead. If you can configure it to work with one it feels SO much better than trying to use the hands.

A really immersive, psychedelic experience in VR, and a nice timewaster in flatscreen. Started this back in 2020 when I had Xbox Game Pass, and finished it this year through PC Game Pass in VR. My opinion on this game might not be the most valid one out there though; I totally forgot about the main mechanic of the game, zone, in the time I wasn't playing, so ended up playing the majority of the game without it. The levels got less interesting to me as I played further, but perhaps I just found myself getting used to the visuals and concentrating more on the Tetris. When it comes down to it, it is just Tetris, but it's a fun little spin on it. It's priced somewhat steeply, and I'm glad I played it through Game Pass, but others may think that it's well worth the price tag.

This one's a real Tetrip. Made by the studio behind Lumines, this turns Tetris into a fantastic musical light show that you can even experience in VR! It's guideline Tetris with an additional time stop mechanic you can use to send huge bursts to your opponent or just save yourself from a desperate situation. Even if you're not good at Tetris, I recommend it just for the experience of your moves creating music. I especially like the 3-player co-op mode where the fields combine and you all work together to beat an AI boss. Plus, on the weekends, you have a chance to be the boss of that mode yourself!
