Super Metroid
The Space Pirates, merciless agents of the evil Mother Brain, have stolen the last Metroid from a research station, and once again Mother Brain threatens the safety of the galaxy! Samus Aran must don her awesome array of high-tech weaponry to retrieve the deadly Metroid hidden deep within the cave-riddled planet Zebes. Super Metroid features excellent graphics, with a huge variety of enemies and worlds to explore. The side-view action will be familiar to many players, only now there are new weapons and items, including the Grappling Beam, which allows Samus to swing across large chasms, and the X-Ray Scope, which reveals secret passages.

O jogo Γ© bem ambientado, com trilha sonora excelente e uma exploração muito boa. NΓ£o Γ© Γ toa que o jogo Γ© muito bem-lembrado! Eu joguei por apenas 30 minutos e deu um gosto de βquero maisβ. No entanto, nΓ£o fique tΓ£o animado. O mapa do jogo Γ© bem grande e vocΓͺ pode se sentir preso se nΓ£o souber realmente o que deve fazer!

I'm getting ready to do a combo randomizer that involves Super Metroid and since I haven't done it in a while I figured "hey why not play it vanilla on stream just to remind yourself where everything is at?" Ended up finishing with 89% items found and could easily go back to nab everything up. This game is still a gem to play to this day. Now on to suffer with the OG Metroid

I played this via NSO
this game kicked my ass, but its really fun, Metroidvanias are fun, I've played through it twice, gotten stuck twice on a major backtrack that I had to look up where the powerup was (I cant remember what powerup it was though, just know it was the same both times)

Now this was a huge step up from the previous entries and an absolutely timeless game that I think just about anyone can pick up and have a blast with at any point. I had a lot of fun with this game and it's still one of my favorites in the series. The only thing I didn't really vibe with was the wall jumping but I think that's probably just a me thing. π
