UNSET OVERDRIVE 8 1/2 GRAFICA:7/8 SONORO:8 1/2 GIOCABILITA':8/9 LONGEVITA':7/8 TRAMA:8 1/2 EMOZIONE:8 1/2 +Gameplay frenetico immediato che non cade mai nella ripetitività +Storia e personaggi parodistici , autoironici e molto efficaci +Doppiato in italiano BENE -La risoluzione grafica, per permettere un frame-rate stabile è stata abbassata -Alcuni nemici un pochettino ripetitivi -Nient altro Il 2017 si avvicina alla sua fine e con la nuova arrivata in famiglia Xbox One ecco che mi butto su un'altra esclusiva della console Microsoft: Sunset Overdrive degli Imsoniac. Il marchio tipico degli Imsoniac si percepisce sin dalle prime battute di gioco: shooter in terza persona con spiccati momenti action simili ai vari Prototype/ Infamous con un'intera città da esplorare con un personaggio sopra le righe con dei poteri fisici incredibili in grado di saltare , rimbalzare e grindare di qua e di la coprendo grosse distanze in pochissimo tempo. La storia racconta di un'apocalisse mutante mantenendo toni decisamente umoristici per tutta la durata con sfondamenti della quarta parete, citazioni improbabili e non , situazioni assurde e comicità che oscilla tra il volgare ed l'ironico con una dinamica perfetta. Sunset Overdrive, con le sue tonalità colorate e frizzanti non riesce mai a prendersi troppo sul serio mostrando svariati personaggi-parodia che alimentano il senso di comicità del titolo. La storia viene raccontata tramite personaggi parodistici e sopra le righe, veramente ben orchestrati ed efficaci cosi come la vicenda assurda ma che tiene sempre alta l'asticella dell humor e del divertimento mitigato ad un possente gameplay. Caciarone ma ricco di possibilità, il gameplay di SO è frizzante , vario e ricco di situazioni estreme e fonde lo sparatutto in terza persona con un action frenetico ed alcuni elementi strategici: i nemici da affronare sono vari ma alcune volte ripetitivi, ma posso garantire che l appagamento nel massacrarli non passa davvero mai. La durata di tutto rispetto per il genere può essere aumentata sensibilmente grazie alla presenza di tantissime sfide e collezionabili da integrare con l'estrema story-line. La colonna sonora è un chiaro omaggio al punk-rock e è clamorosa la presenza/cameo del cantante dei Melvins nelle battute finali del gioco: il doppiaggio italiano, già raro di suo in questi tempi, è davvero ben riuscito e suscita davvero molto divertimento. Altrettanto si può dire solo in parte per quanto riguarda la grafica, colorata e funzionale da una parte( no rallentamenti fortunatamente) ma di bassa risoluzione per i tempi(pur essendo uscito 3 anni fa). Sunset Overdrive è un tripudio di esagerazione e divertimento: la storia può essere considerata marginale, ma se affrontata nella maniera giusta trova perfettamente compimento andando a riempire di carisma un gameplay veloce ed immediato. Una bellissima esperienza diversa dal solito che avrebbe meritato molto più successo commerciale: agli Imsoniac il talento non manca mai.

Loved this game from start to finish and a helluva lot more fun and just more funny in general than I thought it would have been. Story is good but the dialog of the game makes it much better and is probably the best thing about it for me tbh. The game knows it's a game and likes to take the piss out itself sometimes which I'll always be here for if it's done right and imo it was. Music is pretty solid in the game also. Would give it a solid 8.5/10 and would recommend if you like silly games that don't take themselves too seriously.

Прикольная игруха. Такой типа Рэтчет, но разрабы перебрали Балтики 9. Сюжет и диалоги такой блять кринге, что просто не верится что кто-то мог это в здравом уме придумать. Но с остальным всё хорошо. Геймплей - Рэтчет в открытом мире и с толпами врагов. На саундтреке панкуха всякая крутится, визуал приятный. Чисто с технической точки зрения кал конечно, но в целом картинка смотрится сочно и глаз особо ничего не режет, если не вглядываться. Разок пройти кайф.

the gameplay is fun but the story doesn't take itself serious. the story is just nonsensical garbage, I kind of wish they actually did care. but instead we got this story made by Boomers. it's honestly just tiring seeing video games take jabs on larping, no one F***ing does that, you're old. we're in 2024+, larping isn't a thing, old man. This brain rot story is the reason why no one will remembers this game.

Sunset Overdrive is a fun little game that doesn't take itself too seriously. There's a bunch of whacky, but cool weapons, some fast, snappy and fun movement and very cringe dialogue that somehow works due to the setting of the game. The movement of the game is really satisfying, as you can go pretty much anywhere you want to by doing a bunch of parkour, and that really carries this game's playtime. I'd love to give the gameplay 5 stars based off of that, but unfortunately there's also other mechanics, such as the weapons. The weapons are, as said, whacky but cool design wise, but they don't feel impactful for the most part besides a couple of them such as the TNTeddy, so I often ended up using only one or two weapons. I honestly have no clue, what the story was about, as it didn't intrigue me in the sligthest. The soundtrack also wasn't my cup of tea, but it wasn't necessarily bad. I absolutely adore the artstyle though. The game looks like it takes place in a comic book, and that kept me interested to keep playing alongside the fun movement. Game is bussin frfr
