Shenmue III is an action-adventure video game and the sequel to the 2001 game Shenmue II. It follows teenage martial artist Ryo Hazuki in his quest to find his father's killer in 1980s China. In 2015, Suzuki launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to help fund Shenmue III and the campaign met its initial target of $2 million USD in under eight hours. The campaign ended in July having raised over $6 million, becoming the most funded video game in Kickstarter history.

Shenmue III

One of the worst games I have ever played. This game has fewer modern advancements than its predecessors and it's insane how many steps back they have taken in gameplay and just general fun. People waited almost 20 years for this game to come out only to be met with what amounts to a filler episode in an anime. Avoid at all costs.

Difficulty: 2nd hardest They did a surprisingly good job for the budget they had. Can't compete with the earlier games in presentation, but does a good enough job to be a proper sequel. The final chapter is a huge letdown.
